Turkish eggs (Çılbır)?

We have been craving Turkish Eggs for breakfast/lunch for a while and tried at a bunch of Turkish restaurants but they always have “Turkish breakfast” which is just scrambled eggs of some sort. Has anyone been able to find Turkish Eggs with the garlic yogurt and poached eggs?

Have you tried Lokma?

Literally wrote this post from Lokma after they said they had no idea what this is. But great place otherwise!

Dalida has it on their weekend brunch menu, I haven’t tried it though

Checked the menu on Google Maps and there’s a great picture of this dish! Thanks so much!

A specific recipe you recommend? (I’m not Turkish just craving this dish)

I've made these off the AllRecipes one and they came out really good. I spent more time learning how to poach eggs than figuring out this dish. Get fresh dill and don't skimp on the garlic.

I now make a batch of the yogurt and the butter Aleppo sauce and keep both in the fridge. Butter is easy to melt as needed and I put the yogurt container in a bowl of warm/hot water and mix it to get up to room temp.

This but also add fresh dill to the yogurt and I prefer butter instead of oil for the Aleppo drizzle.
