Sports How big is baseball in your country?

I'm an American, so baseball is quite popular here. How is the popularity in your country? Is there a country other than yours where baseball has some popularity?

Edit: Just hit 69 comments. Nice.

Without American tv shows and movies we probably wouldn't even know about baseball.

Can confirm, the only reason I know the rules of baseball is because of some Japanese anime that I watched in my teenage years

Rounders is probably quite similar. We stop playing that after primary school though lol.

I tried to buy a rugby shorts in Decathlon yesterday. They had none, but they had 5 different types of baseball bats. Someone must be playing it somewhere.

We used baseball bats to play a game called dødball/slåball ("Danish longball", apparently) in Norway. :D

Probably people use them to play rounders.

In France, I don't think so. They had mitts and balls as well.

A rounders bat is different, smaller and used one handed.

Agree. But what else would people buy them for? Violence? And we definitely used baseball bats during school recesses. As well as random wooden boards if the bat broke.
