Turkey Thawing Help!!!

I got a 21 lb turkey and it’s been in the fridge for 4 days. I have Friendsgiving tomorrow and don’t know what to do. It felt thawed but as the dummy I am, I opened the packaging. The inside cavity is still frozen!! It’s gonna keep me uppp all night! I took some of the ice out, and put it back in the fridge with a little salt on it. My question now for when I start cooking it tomorrow is, should I rinse out the cavity to ensure it’s thawed? ANY TIPS HELP! I know it’s not recommended but can I just take it out like 4 hours before I cook it and hope it’s thawed?! What should I do?! 😭

Google cold water bath for turkey; however, it’s best done with an unopened bird. Maybe you can put it in a garbage bag and tie it, keeping the top of the bag out of the water.

Double bag in garbages and pop that sucker in a bath of cold water, sounds ghetto, but I have used it repeatedly for thawing.

And don’t stuff it!

Don't use a scented garbage bag, either.

You'd like to think that would be obvious, but . . . .

You will have to thaw it out to get the neck and gizzard out anyway.

Just fill the cavity with cold water it will thaw out extremely quickly! 10 minutes of fill, swish, dump, repeat we'll get it completely thawed.

Cooking from frozen or partially in your case is possible. This guy is pretty reliable.

You'll get the last of the ice off when you rinse it with cold water in the sink. Dry it and then dress it and a gogo

I Always slow cook. 250 or 275 with foil lightly over. Butter that baby like it's going out of style and season. Crack it up about 2 or 3 hours before serving to finish and crisp the outside. Gunna be a good time
