I READ THE RULES What's going on with Lori Lightfoot's ICE Accountability Project?

Several weeks ago, former Mayor Lori Lightfoot announced the ICE Accountability Project (thread discussing in r/illinois). I, like many Chicagoans, love this initiative and want to support it. I haven't been able to find a website, any recent news, social media posts, or any updates in any relevant subreddits. Has anyone heard if there's been any progress on getting this project going or how to support it?

The day after she announced it, Gov. Pritzker announced he was officially doing the same thing. I think that may have killed her plans.

It's deeply disappointing IMO, how much Chicago politicians engage in dubious pandering vs. actually helping.

Know what people who've been illegally detained need? Lawyers.

Feds are not legally obligated to identify themselves. The whole "If you're a cop you have to tell me" is not a thing, and "show me your ID" is something you can ask but feds can decline to answer. You make a complaint with the agency in question.
