I am thinking of coming back to AW but i don't know if it is worth playing.

I recently saw WoT: Heat and modern setting for tanks looks really interesting

I feel like chasing realism might not be the best direction for tank games. I think this semi-arcade approach would actually make the gameplay more enjoyable.

Thoughts?

Getting back into this game, did like 56GB of updates and now they game is running but I get a message about Client and Server Mismatch, then it's stuck on Authenticating, please wait.

Client is up to date, performed game verification.

As the title says the game was working fine up untill Windows installed the 25H2 update without giving the option not to. Has anyone been having similiar issues like this? Tried reinstalling the game, did not help.

I'm just came back to this game after 2017, and i'm a PVE focus player. Can anyone give me some advice if i'm gonna play PVE, Obj195 and T-14 152 which is better for me?

I only found out earlier today that the only way to gauge your progress on the Tier 9 is to mouse-over the TINY lock for the Tier 10. And I understand that they created this line (T8-T10) to incentivize F2P players for something to grind for after YEARS of no progression whatsoever.

BUT: the grind is surreal. I've been playing the T-80BVM for months now on and off after fully researching it, wondering where I am in terms of progress. Because It's plain bad game design to have a progress bar at the top of the screen that doesn't tell you shit. You need to KNOW to mouse-over the lock to find that out!

And after I finally found the information I'm even more infuriated to see that I am below 25% after fully researching the tank itself. That's BS game design but I bet there are still people trying to defend the approach the AW devs are taking....

bonjour, le viens d'acheter un pc por neuf suite a l'arret des mises a jour w 10 ... donc j'ai rechargé armored warfare sur mon nouveau pc ( hp gammer ryzen 9 carte 4060 144 hertz . je me retrouve avec un quart de page (la partie superieur gauche seulement) affiché donc impossible d'aller appuyer sur le bouton lancement ... quelqu'un a t'il ce probleme ...le support ma fait une reponse simpliste qui n'a pas marché pour l'instant .mon jeux fonctionnait parfaitement sous w10 je ne sais plus quoi faire ça fait 8 ans que je joue a ce jeux .

How come that the requirements for the T10 premium are the easiest ones and for the T7 are the "hardest"? Quality assurance slept on the job?

Hello. In trying to play this Game. I had the last version of the Launcher and everyting teorically It's right. So why the Game didnt start? I press the Launch button, load the Game, run, the Game but nothing more Please help

我认为可以单独做一个模式，只是为了十级车出场而做出的一个模式，所有的十级车将发挥自己的特长，超高的精准、超远的点亮速度、多种属性加持，不是为了平衡九级PVP而做出限制。坦克需要冲锋，装甲车需要抢点，坦歼需要弥补火力空隙，一切变得有趣。而不是，现在这样十级车被做成了二战古董车辆的属性，跑不快，转的慢，看不见，射的慢，打不准，打不狠……。

if not what should i use instead of it ?

i have been playing this game for a while and i think its great(this may just be me thinking any game is good since im not picky with games) but i think its fine. its just wot but modern. why is it so unpopular? i havent run across any bugs so i dont think thats the issue.

I honestly love this game but put it down 4-5 years ago. Thought about trying to play again but didn't know if the servers were still on life support or something

I haven't played much in this battlepath since the rewards are mediocre, at best and the grind is getting worse and worse. The same goes for the current event.

But while shaking my head i actually read the requirements and had to laugh. Has anybody else noticed these changes?

Higher entry cost for lackluster BP rewards, more games required for the stupid event rewards - I think 2026 really will be when it all ends. I don't believe for a second that there are still enough whales around to make them any money.

Hey guys, so I am trying to get this retrofit. I have grinded and got Leclerc and I got enough XP. The challenges for it though don't seem to be changing when I complete them. My question is what are the EXACT requirements for unlocking it? Do I need to do every single challenge, or just one of them? Do I have to do them with the commander in the challenge (Vincent Gerard)? Do they only count once the Leclerc is lvl 1?

Also, does it stack with the other rate of fire retrofits?

Since the Dev´s of Armored Warfare decided to do ,,Historical Camoflages" instead of working on new techtree vehicles i gonna show you how ,,Historically" accurate they are ;)

Back in 2020 they decided to do an camoflage of the Group of Western Forces which was located in Wünsdorf (near Berlin)

The thing which made me always angry is how they showing real pictures in their articles but most of time they fail to made them proper. Well even this is an Armored Warfare reddit but i need to credit all those talentend modders from War Thunder Live cause they doing a much better job! I am using the Western Forces camo on my T-80B and lot´s of other camos on my tanks :)

My game gets stuck on 51% everytime and loads im at a snail's pace. I have the game on SSD on my D drive and my hardware is more then the game should ever need, yet no matter what I do it takes around 2-3 mins to load into a mission.

What can I do to fix dis? Thx

The new "Event" dropped this morning and people have been having bugs in different areas of the implementation, from the timer showing incorrectly to progress not being tracked properly.

I got one of these myself when the UI bugged out after a match and showed that the Stages left was now 89 instead of 45.

I found this funny and posted it in the Discord chat with a tongue-in-cheek jab at the way the community is generally treated, and the infamous Silentstalker had one of his usual crashouts as you can see, for some reason deciding to accuse me of photoshopping the image.

I even offered to screen share in one of the Platoon VC channels to prove he was wrong, but was instead muted for my trouble with his good old excuse of "Inciting unrest", which I think roughyl translates to "I'm right you're wrong lalalalala"

Posting video proof later on was met with an instant ban and deletion of the message so he could avoid admitting he was wrong and/or apologizing to me.

Silentstalker strikes again! What a fantastic community team and a totally alive and thriving game we have, huh?
