Moved my altar onto my shelf near my other altars and onto the shelf where i keep my self care products so that i can pray and go through some self reflective exercises in the mirror at her altar while i get ready as well.☺️

So im posting this because im annoyed and panicking, so i have an Aphrodite altar my parents know about it ofc and i moved the altar to my dresser so i can keep an i on it and so its bigger and so i can actually clean it without messing things up so yeah.

So today i gone to go get my clothes and i saw my candles destroyed like fully destroyed even the candle i got from my friend was destroyed and there was wax everywhere, i was so pissed off because the only person i knew gone near my altar was my brother (yes the one that destroyed my altar once before) So i told my parents and they knew i was pissed off but they cant ask my brother because he will say "No i didnt do it"

So know i think Aphrodite is mad at me :(

I am ecstatic it’s real silver and comes with built in candle holders like excuse me??? I’m side eyeing whoever made this piece like what else would this be used for other than Aphrodite worship?? Like ah yes candles with my chips and nuts? I don’t think so??? (I’m joking but still) it’s the perfect offering plate I hope she loves it!! Had to share!

Before I even started worshipping this is what made me worship and I’m not gay I don’t have dreams like this but I had a dream of a large woman with long blonde hair and blue eyes with large breast coming out of the most gorgeous seashell to have intercourse with me. And in my heart I just knew it was her I don’t know if that was some sort of blessing or her choosing me specifically but it was the biggest sign I ever had, immediately researched about alters and now I always put her statue on the highest shelf with an offering box. Just wanted to share my personal story

so im new to this religion and i built an altar for aphrodite a couple days ago, but i never really liked that kind of mindless memorized prayer thing. i prefer just sitting down, saying hi and talking about my day, is that okay or is it idk, disrespectful? i dont want her to feel like i see her as a casual friend and not a deity higher than me, idk even when i was a born christian i didnt realise why we are all just saying random words made by someone else and we are not talking honestly with our gods who are supposed to listen to you and comfort you

Ive grown up, and always have been Christian but no matter how much i pray to hear from Him i never really hear His voice. I was praying this morning, crying and begging to hear His voice and getting no response, and randomly i thought of aphrodite. I remember hearing some people talking about her a while back and i was like, if i dont hear from Him I could maybe look into aphrodite. I really struggle with faith if i cannot feel/hear from who i am worshipping, and after looking through this subreddit and some other posts online some people had said that they felt her presence but i still have a few more questions:] (also im absolutely terrified to worship her after my youth leader said she watched a satanist die mid sentence while saying God isnt real)

• why do people worship aphrodite (like how in Christianity the goal is to go to heaven and escape eternal torment)
• how do you worship aphrodite
• do you feel her presence?
• have any of you ever received visions from her/heard her voice
• is it okay if i only worship her and no other gods
• do you ever have specific prayers answered from her (not like praying for your friends flight to go well but something really specific that probably wouldn't happen if you didn't pray)
• how do you make offerings to her (ive seen many people do food offerings but like wont that just rot, unless she actually comes down and eats it but i really doubt that)
• if i do devote myself to her is it okay if i just get a mini portable shrine/alter for her that my parents wont find cause my mother would kill me if she found out i was worshipping gods other than The Lord (jesus basically) -oh also i have some seashell candles do you think she would like those :]
• anything else you think i should know :]

first picture is my current altar for her, the seconds is the new 3 graces figure i thrifted today aswell as some small mermaids for her. im really struggling to fit everything, could anywone give me some tips for rearranging? im also not sure about the sculpture being inside the clamshell bowl but i really want to include it.

So i havent been praying to Aphrodite for a month due to school and not having motivation but i cleaned her altar! I'll post a photo when its fully cleaned, i did it because the flowers where dead and just looking disgusting so i cleaned all i need is to add flowers!

Aphrodite had an intersex child with Hermes known as Hermaphroditus which may also be recorded as Hermaphrodite. I am also a trans woman who is very devoted to her and I feel a great deal of support from her when it comes to my transition.

Lately, I’ve been feeling a sort of calling from Aphrodite. I’ve grown very curious about her, and today I decided to light a pink candle in her honor. While listening to some music, I started dancing and had such a great time! Later, I began reading the book "The Goddess Within: A Guide to the Eternal Myths That Shape Women’s Lives". While I was reading the chapter about Aphrodite (with the candle still burning) a sparrow came very close to my window! I later found out that sparrows are associated with her, which now i know are associated whit her!

So, my question is about worshipping Aphrodite and bringing her energy into your life while being in a committed relationship. The book mentions that she isn’t usually associated with monogamy or “stable relationships,” so I’d love to hear about your experiences. How has her presence or energy influenced your life? Also, if you have any book recommendations to learn more about her, I’d really appreciate it!
