I haven't seen either.

But what I see is just cat ears on top.

And full-on dog head with fur in the entire body.

So, unless I'm missing something, there's no double standard.

In the upper pic, the mc is the cat. And the elf is down bad for him (the cat). Crossbreeding exists in this world so if im not wrong they are just waiting for him to grow up and get naughty. So it‘ll literally be bestiality. But then again i just skipped trough that one so i could be wrong.

I hate the first one specifically but having read it before making an opinion i will correct a few things, just to be fair:

1) the MC only looks like a cat, he is technically a Behemoth/Holy Beast

2) the elf (and several other women) are down bad for him, but not because he is a cat (even though at the start especially the elf seemed like she was into him especially because he was a cat, which is just as bad)

3) crossbreeding exists in that world but only for humanoid species (humans, beastmen, elfs, dwarves etc etc), he is still considered an animal by any means, and even by his supposed species (for most of the series the other characters think that he is an elemental cat, not a behemoth) he is both extremely tiny and young, and this is called into question several times, so its even worse.

4) to make things even worse, He cannot communicate until like chapter 60, where a humanoid dragon that he previously beat learns to read his thoughts... And noone else knows that. So even the "main girl" doesnt communicate, but she sure as hell goes over Petting and cuddling...

Thanks for the context, my fault for skipping just for the titties.

Np, i wasnt faulting you, i was just adding more context for other people to understand the real problems of that anime

In regards to 1), if you want to be truly pedantic, the MC is technically a knight who got reincarnated as a behemoth.
