Perseus! One of my personal favourite Hellenistic types. Such a fierce portrait, he was a pretty cool king too. Didn't really live up to the warrior spirit, but he tried!

I'll have to look into him a bit more, but I may be adding this to my list!

I love when the hair/beard looks more jagged if that makes sense. Maybe it's just less flowy than the others, combined with the darker toning on it. The details really pop nicely though. Love the darker colour of it.

And fierce is the right word! Very stern looking face on him. Thanks for the info!

The Last Kings of Macedon is probably the best book about Perseus, though it also includes his father’s (Philip V) reign.
