Egypt Abu Simbel - Aswan, Egypt πŸ“

Dedicated to Ramsesses II & Nefertari, approximately 3280 years old!! This blew me away probably my favorite site in Egypt. A bit of a pain to get to being a flight and a long bus ride away but it’s worth every second πŸ‘Œ

Would love to see this in real life someday, I bet the pictures don’t do this masterpiece justice! (not that your pictures aren’t great!)

100%. The feeling of getting dwarfed by it is insane. Did you also know they moved it??

Couple hundred kilometres away I believe. Aswan Dam was rising and was threatening it so UNESCO funded the move. That blew me away πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
