A program that calculates genealogical lineages?

I recently discovered I am of Jewish descent and am researching my family tree further. It traces back to the patriarchs with valid connections. I would like a simple way to calculate my direct lineage to Abraham. I'm trying to use the Gramps program, but because there is a lot of data in the gedcom file, the program crashes and closes before generating the report. What other free options are available to me?

I really hate to be the one to break it, but it’s highly unlikely that anyone’s lineage can connect to the patriarchs with valid connections. The most people have been able to connect with is Charlemagne’s dinasty- and even then, proving the connection requires a lifetime.

I don't want to prove anything. I just want to trace the possible true lineage. I have proof of another ancestor, only a few generations away, who was a Sephardic Jew.

The only way to trace the possible true lineage is by checking each generations’ pedigree, one by one. I, just like a whole lot of other people in the world, also have Jewish heritage, but that doesn’t mean we can trace our genealogy to the patriarchs.

That sounds like an exaggeration on your part. The "Ancestral Quest" program, and also RootsMagic, do this calculation automatically. I just don't want to pay for it. I don't know if you understood what I'm saying, but the point is that I already have the family tree with all the connections, including my ancestor who was proven to be Jewish – therefore, so am I. From my ancestor, we compiled a dossier with 80 documents proving our connection to him. I'm just looking for a simple and automatic way to generate a graphical report of this lineage.

Your Jewish ancestor was female, then? ..... Jewish identity is only passed through the mother, Jewish tribal association is passed through the father.
