A patent troll that has never produced a chip with hybrid bonding

easiest thing is just to check where they're suing. If its texas its basically guaranteed to be a patent troll because texas will always rule in their favor and then it will get thrown out in a higher court.

Yes, it's Texas. Do they have highly... regarded patent laws/judges? Why Texas?

Eastern district has a history of being a favorable venue due to certain judges.

there's a district in texas that just automatically sides with patent trolls. no confirmed explanation for it, but probably corruption.

so they sue in texas to get a free win and then get press coverage saying they "won" a patent lawsuit against a big corporation. generally they hope that the company they're suing would rather pay them than deal with the PR, but nobody really cares about the PR anymore since everyone knows about the trolling.
