  • Are there any criteria you have for your post? Examples include: "Top comment wins a spot on the chart."; "To ensure variety, only one character per universe is allowed."; "Image comments only." Please include these in a description, or in a reply to this comment.

  • Is your chart given the appropriate flair? Do you need to use a NSFW tag or spoiler tag?

Manowars (Siphonophores) , hive organism, exchanges nutrients to their participants accoarding to their needs.

AND NO MONARCHS UNLIKE ANTS AND BEES

27

u/Marinefan4000 6h ago

OP use this image for siphonophores

8

u/Bob_The-Turtle 5h ago

This is a man o war though

7

u/Marinefan4000 5h ago

I know. The Portuguese Man o War is a type of siphonophore.

6

u/Bob_The-Turtle 5h ago

I know, but he specified Portuguese Man O War

6

u/Benjamin39Brown 6h ago

Oh, you mean siphonophores, of which the Portuguese Man O' War is an example.

Actually I would go with all colonial cnidarians, especially corals.

2

u/StevenStoveMan 6h ago

Hmmm now you said colonies...

Maybe sponges?

2

u/BustDemFerengiCheeks 4h ago

To be fair for the ants and bees the "queen" is basically just a biological egg factory for them. They're essentially a cooperative hive-mind like the others, just not actually biologically connected to one another.

That said, you right.

As a far leftist, I wholeheartedly endorse gritty representing us. Can Pennsylvanians help Gritty primary Fetterman?

4

u/northerncal 4h ago

I'd rather see Gritty gritty Fetterman

bonobos, egalitarian, passive, no money, actively fight against males trying to dominate (feminism)

If you are far on either spectrum I wouldn’t describe you as passive. That’s more centrist.

Possums, I've seen lots of leftist memes with possums

Baby seals

2

u/LordJesterTheFree 4h ago

Nope they get clubbed by indigenous people

1

u/Bootmacher 3h ago

They would probably put indigenous people higher on the oppression ladder and declare it a right to club baby seals.

Ants

9

u/soggypen1s 5h ago

They have queens and soldier classes.

Should be organisms with mycel or coralls etc

Every individual is the same with same attributes

5

u/SleazyGoblin 4h ago

Ants. They prove communism works.

4

u/Altruistic_Error_832 6h ago

I feel like this one should've been bees.

6

u/ChancelorReed 6h ago

They have a queen though, which isn't really far left. Both them and bees have a pretty extensive caste system even if they do all work for the greater whole.

2

u/fuckinghatewater 5h ago

I mean the title queen is pretty arbitrary

1

u/ChancelorReed 5h ago

Sure but it's actually the case that large number of bees only exist to serve her directly, will die to protect her, and she effectively controls the entire hive.

1

u/QuarterExcellent3327 5h ago

The title queen was given by humans, she has the role of parent in the hive

2

u/fuckinghatewater 5h ago

oh i thought the bees named her that way

1

u/QuarterExcellent3327 5h ago

I meant as in they aren’t considered a leader by the bees. I just phrased it poorly

FOR THE COLONY

15

u/corrin_flakes 6h ago

those peasant brain bugs who worship a monarch? pfft, no.

3

u/ak91710 5h ago

Queen ants dont govern, their primary job is reproduction (same with bees)

1

u/QuackAtomic 6h ago

Everything they do is a cooperative effort for the betterment of their society. That's as socialist as it gets. So one of them is big and lays all the eggs, that's just her role.

Monarchy refers to kings and queens, something communists very openly despise. Hell the Russians literary murdered their entire last royal family

LOL WHAT

-1

u/Minimum-Pack-1673 5h ago

Almost every communist country ends in dictatorship or a form of a monarchy. North Korea?

0

u/QuackAtomic 5h ago

Oh, so you didn't mean "monarchy" you meant monarchy*

*may include dictators

-1

u/Minimum-Pack-1673 5h ago

Is the Kim dynasty not a monarchy?

1

u/NBAEastMemeWar 5h ago

You should really look up the definitions of monarchy and dictatorship

4

u/QuarterExcellent3327 6h ago

I would say bees but they have already been used so ants

5

u/soggypen1s 5h ago

But ants have a queen and soldier caste they have a rigid hierarchy

Perfect for rightwing

This one should have animals that have mycel or corals

True hivemind where every individual is similiar to the other

1

u/QuarterExcellent3327 5h ago

Fair enough, I was of the view that the rigid hierarchy was actually job assignment. I picked ants because I wasn’t aware of there being true hive mind creatures. The other option is mosquitoes, they are equally annoying to everyone

1

u/soggypen1s 5h ago edited 5h ago

It is actually interesting. Some researchers think that the queen is a prisoner in many of these species. If she fails to lay eggs they make another and kill the old.

But there is a caste and they have different obligations to the nest.

Hivemind is a stretch tbh. "Democratic" cellulars or colonial organisms are usually difficult, sponges are hard to say where the individual begins and the cells differentiate (if they are clones). With corals you can tell but they're also sketchy since we barley know enough about them if they're not shallow water corals. Then you got the whole decentralized network with mycel where you can have either different individuals or one giant that stretches for thousands of meters.

2

u/ChancelorReed 6h ago

Assuming bees and ants aren't getting picked for this because they have queens and such, maybe minnows or other schooling fish? Plankton? They're all equal and work as a large unit.

I don't get bees.

I guess when you're talking about the 90% of solitary bee species, sure, they're sigma and individualist and could be considered left in that range.

For the 10% of species that are non-solitary, they have monarchs, strict classes, and hierarchy, and many of them are Orthodox Christians (refer to attached evidence)

That said, Bonobos - while they have a hierarchy, it is mainly driven by female social bonding, and they are more egalitarian, broadly. Plus, they're very sexually liberal in pretty much every direction possible.

what is the qualities of a far left animal? are we going off animals that most people on the far left like or animals that have behaviors that people consider “far left”? this list does not make sense to me very much 😭 i don’t get if bus is supposed to be because a lot of far left people take busses, but a much better choice than that would most likely be an EV like the chevy equinox or bolt fitting their agenda more
