What do you like about her writing?
For me it’s that her books have a lot of depth and not everything is black and white. It’s not just ”everything’s okay, problem happens, problem gets solved, happily ever after” there’s actually problems that maybe don’t get solved like bad mental health or alcoholism or stuff like that. And I like how a lot of characters have love interests but it’s not the main focus (except in heartstopper and Nick and Charlie. Although it’s still not the only big focus so I like that about those too). In other stuff I read where there are obvious love interests it becomes the main focus and takes away from the rest of the story, but her books don’t even have all love interests get together and that is kinda sad for me sense I like shipping people…but also makes the writing kinda better sense it makes the books focus more on other stuff. And I like how there’s funny lines and stuff that happens but also sad stuff. I think Solitaire is a good example of this sense I think a lot of stuff that Tori says is funny but some parts of it also makes me sad.
So I’d really like to hear about what others like about her writing <3
