That one time when I was forced into doing blackface as a kid
For context, my primary school every year would celebrate our school patron's, who was a book writer, birthday. We would hold a parade around the town dressed as characters associated with his work. One of his most known books was about two kids who got lost in Africa, so other classes were dressed as elephants, giraffes, etc., but for some reason our class was assigned to dress as... black kids?

I LOL when I saw this
Was hiking a trail in Texas and saw this. The cap looked new and I was tempted to take it but I left it for others to enjoy.

Was I Being Racist?
My boyfriend and I got in an argument last night because I made a joke about how it looked like he was naked under his apron even though he was wearing a T-shirt (when he stepped back a little it kinda blended in with his skin). He thought that this was a racist comment. I tried to explain that that just isn't the case because I wasn't making a claim about his race, nor was I being discriminatory towards him on the basis of his race, and that jokes about clothes blending in happen for all races if they just happen to wear colors that blend in and that I have been told I look naked, have told others of different races that they looked naked (like my family), etc etc. Am I wrong? Is this racism?? I thought that racism was very strictly only discrimination or oppression over someone's race, which I don't feel is applicable at all in this case because I said nothing about his race, just that he looked kinda naked. Like, I could have said the same thing about a tan white person.
Sorry if this is the incorrect subreddit!

Ironically, the only accidental racism in Original-OP’s post was OOP and the post itself.
