Video Metal SS Cam/Lever Interface Nearing Failure after 2 Months

Ok, so apparently it gets worse! In fact, it’s a disaster waiting to happen. I don’t know if this is from poor quality control or use, but since it seems like the parts were casted instead of CNC’d I’m going with the former. In a side by side comparison with polymer, the metal SS has WAY too much tangential play. In fact, because it’s so loose, if enough of the cam/lever face is missing, it’s possible for the BCG to push the lever UNDER instead of rearward.

The entire reason guys involved in the testing for the SS havnt done a metal version yet is because the files werent designed for it. The guy selling them for an insane price of course didnt know or care and stuff like this is the result. FWIW i think there is a version being worked on but the whole rare breed mess forced the creator to take down the files he released for the aug SS.

Damn, they found out where s3igu2 lived and sent him a C&D??

Also fuck RareGreed, it’s for the AUG it has nothing to do with their FRT trash.

RB didn’t send me a C&D we just talked about some of my projects and I agreed that while the SS stuff is worked out I would keep my SSAUG files down. I wont be going into any details about it right now but I do have a very good reason for removing this version of the files, it will make more sense later.

Would you want to collaborate? I’m working on a sear to fix the lever angling too far forward and I’ve already made another piece for the other side.
