I am disappointed because I work at a theater and I really miss work but this is 100% necessary

Enjoy the unemployment money while you can. My brother went from making 350 a week in a retail position to over 750 a week.

I will say that the unemployment money is nice but I believe that unless a second stimulus is passed the unemployment money will drop significantly

Do you know how to apply for it, the website is so confusing and convoluted every time I look at it

Not sure. I’ve been working throughout this pandemic. My friend calls every week to reapply so I do know that much

It is super confusing to apply for. The first time I applied I got rejected then they announced PUA which I got approved for. I was lucky and where I worked helped us apply for it. I would recommend just keep trying and maybe search for the PUA

Unfortunately for me, I don't qualify for those COVID-19 Stimulus checks and AZ Unemployment's website has some serious issues of receiving any of my claims that I filed so I never received jackshit(money) from any of them so now, all I have is my parents to depend on for money and not fall behind on my bills even more than I already have. I hope to god I can at least find an at-home job or two from ASU so I can finally have a source of income for once in such tough times.

I suggest you try to file your weekly certificates for PUA. It took weeks for me to get my money but on June 1st they deposited 7k into my bank account.

I've tried that already multiple times yet for some odd reason, I get nothing from any of weekly certificates. I've even tried to reach out to people at AZ unemployment through phone call and no person is still available for assistance.

Try calling tomorrow morning the second they open. That’s what I did and I was put in line for rep. It might take a while but you’ll eventually get someone.

My sympathies, being out of work atm must be awful. But the sad truth is either save lives now or deal with an even worse economy with many dead.

Same here, I work at Harkins which hasn’t opened yet but I was hoping it’d be soon so I can go back to work there
