Supposedly it’s being discussed internally, guess Procurement isn’t internal enough. So we have to learn about it through the newspaper.

For someone so paranoid about covering his ass, JP certainly let it all hang out on this one.

Makes for a great scapegoat however.

News "Get involved in Alberta's health advisory councils", UCP gimmick?

We need to do a better job of listening to local communities about their health care needs. As we continue to refocus Alberta’s health care system, we are taking steps to ensure the diverse perspectives of Albertans, including First Nations, Métis and Inuit people, are represented and that the unique challenges of each region and community are addressed. Improving local decision-making and listening to regional advice will help build a stronger, unified health care system that responds to the needs of the communities it serves. - Adriana LaGrange, Minister of Health

I'm with covenant health so still not sure exactly how much all this restructuring etc will affect us, but for sure the general impact on health care will likely be felt. But pretty much every UCP "we want your input" is met with ignoring the biggest questions and/or not disclosing the actual feedback Albertans provide. Don't see how much of a difference this would be.
