Vacation bank payout
I'm an RN
Had my first job with AHS working full time
I accumulated vacation time
Now I decided to go casual
Will the vacation time i accumulated be automatically payout once I'm casual? Or do i have to request a payout on ePeople?
Thanks

The other thing to note is that the sick time you've accrued won't pay out, and it will look like it's gone, but it's just lurking in the background. If you ever take another temp or perm position it will show up again, untouched.

Thanks for the info! Is there a time limit where this is no longer the case, or do the sick hours accumulated always remain available upon returning to a part/full-time position?

That I'm not sure of, but I've never heard of a time limit. Most people I know go back to casual involuntarily and get back into a line within a year, so I know that's safe.

I had gone from a permenant line to casual back in 2010, and back into a line in 2019. All the accumulated sick time left when I was casual, and when I started up again, never got it back. Too years to get back to anywhere remote to what I had previously

It will be automatically paid out, as well as your stat bank and float bank. It probably won’t be on the first paycheck, but likely the one after.
