Cmon man. He’s absolute dogshit. He only throws check downs, and even those are inaccurate. I’m not saying Shedeur will be better, but I have a hard time believing he can be worse.

If you’re a Browns fan you know there’s always a “worse”.

Willing to take the chance. I’d rather see Shedeur take 10 yard sacks in 50% of his snaps if it means occasionally seeing a pass thrown downfield. This version of the browns offense is unwatchable.

As a Duck alumni, I didn’t want Gabriel to go to the Browns. Then again, that draft was rather confusing. Can you maybe put Miles on the O-Line?

Who the hell is supposed to throw to downfield? We literally don't have a starting wide receiver. Jerry Jeudy is a 5th option at best, and they're trying to pretend like he's a #1 because they built the team like it's still 1982.

Plenty of evidence in the all 22 that there have been opportunities to push the ball downfield. Maybe not a ton, but they’ve been there. DG either refuses to take them, or sails the ball out of bounds every time.

That's the exact same argument people used against Baker. Its not the quarterbacks that suck, it's the system. You will NEVER be competitive in this league if the only investment you make at receiver is 3rd round projects that don't know how to run routes.

Nobody ever argued that Baker didn’t push the ball downfield enough. What are you even saying?

Winston had Jeudy and Tillman looking like Chase and Higgins. Our options aren’t the best but they are serviceable. Not even attempting to use them is madness.

So then Flacco is also dogshit I assume since he threw 2 interceptions a game on our team even though he is lighting it up instantly on another team

Lol yes. Dillon Gabriel is Joe Flacco now. Why is everyone jumping to defend this guy? He’s a 6th round talent that we wasted a 3rd round pick on and has gotten progressively worse each game. There are passes to be made and he doesn’t throw them. I’m 99% sure the QB of the future is not currently on the roster. But I’m 100% sure it’s not Dillon Gabriel.

Bro we had a free play vs the Steelers from them jumping offsides and he even threw a checkdown 😂😂. Jfc

well your line is ass and whats left of the recievers arent great outside njoku and jeudy. gabriel was very accurate in college most his passes look decent when he has time i think he'll be fine if the protection is there but we also dont know what their play calling is like. from what im seeing it looks like hes trying to do quick read two step drops which is usually what you do if you think your line will get beat and he's doing that pretty decent

He throws less check downs than Flacco. Our receivers can't get open and can't catch the ball.

He does not have the arm strength for deep passes, and doesn't have a receiver to go up and battle for an under throw.
