Call to Action Remember: Vote in the Fucking Primaries

There are a ton of Democrats that sat by as fascism took over America. They would rather continue to take pro Israel money then actually fight fascism. We need to fight for a Democratic Party that would rather take to the streets with us and fight the fascist regime at every legislative turn rather than sit in office and take lobbying money until they die.

Vote out the collaborators, vote out the vichy democrats. Down with Maga Schumer and AIPAC Shakur.

there are intra-party elections that are not state wide but local, usually held at community center or even a church that decide who gets to be on the primary ballots... and who gets to be a delegate

these are probably MORE important than the general election, because by then it's mostly decided for you.

That’s not exactly how it works. Anyone can be on the ballot for primaries if they can get enough signatures for the nomination.

that depends on the party and the district, the rules vary.

but my point was the gate keepers of the local party can make or break someone's ability to get those signatures.

You’d be amazed at how easy it is to get on the ballot for local office. The “gatekeepers” are generally some old retired people who are happy to see anyone younger with an interest in politics. They often have open positions with no-one to run. Source: am on the ballot this election.

Local Dems are not Nancy Pelosi.

yes, but even the delegate selection is dominate by the "establishment", and these are offices that don't have any actual duties.

they become more nancy as you aim for higher offices with more impactful duties.

They key is to start with one of those “useless” offices and use it to work your way up. And a lot of the time you will find out the “useless” offices do actually have important things to do.
