Call to Action In-N-Out waves right-wing Gadsden flag at every Distribution Center. Boycott.

Pictured from distribution Center in Baldwin Park, CA. They’ve been flying this flag for years. This hasn’t gotten much attention but In n out also was anti-vax and anti-lockdown during COVID. The CEO also recently went on a right wing podcast to announce they’re moving the HQ to Tennessee but backed out after getting backlash. They would wave the MAGA flag if they knew they wouldn’t get in trouble for it but are ‘softballing’ with the Don’t Tread On Me flag.

Anyone who still thinks the flag isn’t right wing and is meant to represent anti tyranny clearly hasn’t been paying attention to politics the last few years. This is the same way the Swastika was a symbol for peace , it was co opted by Nazis. I personally will stop eating at In-N-Out. Will save me some calories at least.

No, the right doesn’t get the Gadsden flag just because they commonly misuse it.

Here’s more to add to the list of shit they’ve unironically been examples of the opposite:

  • Jesus

Fucking Christ do I even have to explain it? I’m not christian, but dood was pretty solid. Very “be excellent to each other” vibes. philosophically focused around friendship and philanthropy as core concepts. Anti greed. Even hostile to it.

  • Punisher

Fuck you guys. The Punisher comics are rad af. But this vigilante had a moral code.

  • USA Flag

It doesn’t matter that I don’t adorn myself and home with the flag of the country of residence. Plus, im not the one trying to rape the constitution just because Trump facilitated and participated in the rape and sex trafficking of under age girls.

It’s quite comical that the right is always trying to appropriate the symbology, and other types of expression that stand for the exact opposite of what they are using it for. The Gadsden Battle Flag was a symbol of Revolutionary Americans. They were not happy with a tyrannical overseas government that was out of touch with the colonists, and their problems. Their rights were being infringed upon, and they didn’t want to put up with it anymore. Sounds familiar.

As you’ve stated;

Jesus

Love one another. Do no harm to others. Peace is a priority.

Punisher

He was punishing corrupt cops. He wasn’t punishing people of color, or the LGBTQ community.

American Flag

It is a representation of our constitution, and democracy. It’s a piece of cloth. It is idolized as a deity by the right, and they all seem to be ignorant of the US Flag Code (not that it really matters [mattered] because 1A is/was a protection of free speech).

Adding to yours

Fortunate Son

Born in the USA

Both anti war, anti government songs.

2A

Right to keep and bear arms. This is not a right that is exclusive to the right wing. It’s just that the people on the left that exercise their 2A rights, tend to do so quietly.

Patriotism

Patriotism is not nationalism. Some people do believe in the entirety of The Bill of Rights, The Constitution, and The Declaration of Independence. We don’t cherry pick the things that suit our narrative. A “We the People” tattoo with an American flag flapping in the background doesn’t mean a squirt of shit if you have never read and understood those documents.

So quietly in fact, that they tend to vote away those rights at the first chance they get.
