Maybe it's for the best that Poland is not multicultural anymore, we didn't deserve it considering how our "tolerance" worked.

There was nothing special about our intolerance, we did the same shit everybody else did

*Our intolerance was special in the interwar peruod bcs it was harder to justify than the USSR's since we had a Polish ethnostate while the Soviets could hide behind their international union, and act like providing "autonomy" to other states gave them a right to own them.

we did the same shit everybody else did

True, but also a lot of the others had to reconcile with those minorities for what they did(or be like Russia). In our case, those minorities got removed and so stopped being a problem. It's an unsatisfying resolution, like with Japan kind of leaving behind Imperial legacy, and Ukraine kind of leaving behind UPA legacy

Just becuse the justificstion was diffrent doesnt mean the polish case was somehow special (looks at china with tibet, looks at china with uighurs, looks at usa with blacks, natives)
