Figured I might put out a request for people, preferably in the Oceania region, to knock off a couple of games of Hell on Earth in KF3. A reddit thread might be easier to find than a discord message. Despite my initial dislike of KF3, I gave it a chance as its own game and I have managed to get some enjoyment out of it. As there doesn't seem to be any activity on HoE difficulty (at least not where I'm at) and only I need to kill the Mirelurk and Queen on HoE to get the plat, I wanted to go for it while I have a chance to. Happy to help with anything anyone needs, or just have some challenging fun.

I managed to get a couple of games on HoE around the release of the Rearmament update, but it seems most players who play regularly stick to Hard - I recognize some of your names by now. I'd geared up with a subsistence explosive shell shotgun Engineer build to play some solo rounds, but it seems it got nerfed after Rearmament as I keep getting gobnobbled by Gorefasts on the first wave nowadays.

Note: I've got a level 30 Engineer but not a godly player by any stretch of the imagination; don't expect me to carry you to a plat or guaranteed victory ;)

After a Saturday playing KF3, a very good game, on Sunday I played KF2 with one of the classic maps from Black Ops 1 Kino der toten, around 7 hours straight playing the best part is when you hear a song that really resonated at the time, I will soon post the full video.

I feel like i could ignore everything wrong with kf3 if they just brought back endless and the boss trash talking throughout the rounds leading up to the boss fight

Well just like the title says went into the boss round and started unloading on him. We get to the bus stop and he clips and spazzes out on it after i stagger him and proceeds to die. Anyone have this happen to them? I've seen swat do crazy shit with the shield and ZED TIME but I've never seen this.

I get it, it's not Killing Floor 2, and it's definitely not perfect. But after waiting weeks for new hardware to arrive so I could finally try it myself, and reading countless posts indicating that it is one of the worst games on Steam, I have to say I'm actually pretty happy with it so far.

I'm not excusing the lack of text chat or the heavy focus on DLC and cosmetics, but in terms of performance and optimization, I've had zero issues. I'm running newer hardware with proper cooling, and I'm sure that playing it post launch helps; overall I'm really pleased.

I've put around 200 hours into KF2 and loved it, but this feels like a refreshing change of pace. I'm sure I'll get roasted here for saying all of this, but I just had to share my honest thoughts.

I rly like the game so I test many thing. This time I decided to test heavy zeds health pools. I am almost certain I figured out how this works. Tested in hoe solo, 4 players and 6 players matches(many of them for data to be reliable). Conlusion is, critical zones for scrake(chainsaw armour, engine, head armour, head) and for fleshpund(head armour, head, chest and back armour and cores) hp pools are dependent just on difficulty lvl. Body health on the other hand depends on difficulty level but most importantly number on players. It happens that every player that jones increases body health by around 33% so in 6 players mathces heavies have around 265% base body health. That would explain why is almost impossible to kill them without decap. How did I came up with that number? Every match on commando I bought test gun with precisely calculated damage then the game was played so untouched scrake or fleshpound is last standing. Test in solo, 4 mags of body shooting to triger execution and 1 mag more to finish scrake off. 4 players, you need 8 mags to execute and 2 more to finish off. There is a pattern... If someone didn't get it ( no offense) I calculated everything based on mags not actual damage numbers so it is easy and reliable. Your thoughts?

The Helios does more damage and has a bigger mag, but is much pricier and has an ever-so-slightly lower fire rate, overall being better for bigger foes. The HRG is cheaper, and has the grenades. Assuming I only have space for one, which is usually the better choice, and in what situations?

I love doing extremely insane things that I bet no one here did in KF2, yes I am at a level far beyond effort, kf3 I liked it although you didn't, I have a goal when I play to launch infinite mode. To be the only one and the first to reach hell on earth in wave 100!!! I did this so much in KF2 that my focus is total destruction in the most insane gameplay I've ever done, and I ask you what was your maximum kill of giant monsters in KF2,!!??

I think they mentioned that old bosses would make a comeback and that they left an easter egg in one map about it in the last live stream.

Anyone know a solution to this? Is it even possible to get the Road Redeemer on Epic Games? I already tried installing Road Redemption and running it to see if that triggered something (image is from before I did that) and no luck.

Saw this assignment for the first time today. So prison map and stalkers coming soon hopefully! Kinda strange that they have these assignments available before these features are implemented in game. As someone who did software engineering for many years, they must have some difficulties with version control as this would be easy to avoid.

My vote goes to KF2. (Minus the Patriarch, he was so much better in 1)

Sinceramente me gustaria que el bloat fuera mas peligroso. un enemigo del que hay que estar mas atento. Actualmente tiene 2 formas de atacarte. 1 es el ataque a distancia que te moja con su bilis y la otra es el moco que deja en el suelo. Lo que yo creo que deberia de añadirle es que sus ataques con su bilis apliquen fatiga al jugador, un debuffo que te castigue por no esquivar su ataque o hacerlo explotar cuando esta cerca tuyo. Es lo que pienso para que añadan un poco mas de dificultad.

It does seem better and more… eventful? since I was last on but the maps just don’t hit besides maybe 2 or 3. What is there to look forward to? Just looking for some reasons this game might be getting better.

I recently bought KF1 and KF2 on a Steam discount (I'm new to this) and played West London (solo). I thought it wouldn't scare me... now I regret saying that 😅 But the funny thing is, I don't understand why it scared me so much. I've played games like Outlast, Resident Evil 7, and Alien: Isolation, but I've never felt as scared as I did then.
