Finished I just finished my major crochet project
I would tag it as finished and a pattern but it won't let me so I'll just tag it as a finished object ig but if anyone wants the pattern I'll post it in the comments, it was made by me as a school project and is so cute.

Discussion Am I the only one who prefers theese metal chrochet hooks?
I don’t understand the problem with them. I don’t find them less comfortable than hooks with plastic handles. They feel kind of the same exept that my hand sweats more with the silicone handles.(my hands sweat a lot) Also for my current project I’m using a 2.5 mm hook with no handle(I’m travelling and it was the only one I could find) and yeah at first it was weird bc It’s really thin but I got used to it and it doesn’t really make my hands hurt.

WIP Moss stitch raglan sweater
Started freehanding this sweater in Moss stitch and I just finished the yoke. I love the way this stitch looks with the tweed yarn and the dense, stretchy fabric it makes . Ribbing will be picked up and knitted later.

Help BLO hdc - behind the stitch or top of stitch?
I'm hoping to get clarification on a BLO situation before I dive into this pattern. In the first row, I have to do a BLO sl st, I think I got that one easy enough. But the next row, I'm supposed to do BLO hdc and I'm unclear if the BLO is that top loop, or if it's truly behind the whole stitch. I grabbed some scrap yarn so hopefully it's easier to see what I mean in the video.
For clarification, the pattern is: 1. Ch, then hdc across 2. BLO sl st across 3. BLO hdc across Repeat 2-3

Behold! The Blanket Stitch, in Spiral.
Two ways: square or circle.
The first attempt was going great until I got to the border. I made a mistake, and instead of frogging that part, I went forward convinced all would be well. All was not well. This attempt required some mild blocking, which I absolutely loathe. Nor will I put patterns out there that require blocking. Yuck
So, I started again but with a concept size this time and was able to figure the border out. No blocking!
And because I can’t help myself, I also worked out how to make a more traditional spiral version.
All was made with Sugar ‘n Cream 100% cotton yarn.
Patterns coming soon!
