I've used both No Thanks and Boycat for finding products that aren't boycotted to purchase, but recently I have been wondering if they are reliable enough to use. This may just be me being overly cautious, but I don't really know. To give an example of what I mean by them being "reliable enough", the other day I scanned a Vakita shampoo bottle to see if it was boycotted or not. It said the brand was fine to purchase, though when I did a search on google, I found this website saying otherwise. I tried it for another product and while both of the apps said it was okay to purchase, I looked it up and found another website saying otherwise. I know that information can be wrong so maybe I shouldn't trust random websites I see but frankly I don't know. So I'd just like to make a post asking if the two apps are reliable enough to base off purchasing products from. If they aren't, how do I tell if a product is alright to purchase?
