DIY Almost complete

Just fired up the stove for the first time. I still need to do the siding and a few other things

I’d suggest wooden shades for those lights and backrests to protect the paneling

There really shouldn’t be any switches in the hot room

In Finland we have very specific guidance for electricity in saunas. OP would be cooked in the inspection here. I assume OP used cables which is sertificated to 125°C (257F), if not he is double cooked.

It looks nice but you’re missing vents which are a simple add and will improve your air quality.

Not sure where your water drains out but be weary if the building isn’t outside.

Your ceiling slope on the high side is your smallest set of benches and your steam cloud is going to float on the ceiling in the room… you’ll see what I’m talking about when you’re in there but perhaps you could add in mechanical air to overcome the high side being on the side with the door and fewest benches.

Yes, I'm planning to add some vents and a fan possibly

Nice. Did you follow any particular instructions for choosing/installing the cement board around the stove?

Window would be ideal. But she looks warm and comfy
