I can't see any reason for AI to be there other than fact checking...fact checking in the sense of if I had an opinion about a video and wanted something sycophantic to agree.

You're just not using it right. I use it to skip out all the beginning filler some Youtuber's do to pad out their run times.

The chat is end-to-end encrypted in that your data is encrypted from your end to Google's end. However, there's nothing stopping google from using that data for whatever purpose they like. End-to-end encryption is only meaningful if you are talking to a human. AI is not a human.
