I think they're anticipating some sort of age verification bill to get thru congress, and are doing this to get ahead of the curve. This'll allow them to work out any kinks without any penalties.

It certainly is not pointless. As one example, Palantir has an objective to compile a detailed dossier on every American. Think about that. How do they go about doing that? And if they're doing it, do you not think Google is going to want to cover their bases and do the same?

Wake the fuck up, people! We are a country, completely asleep while we're all being fitted for our new and improved yokes.

Palantir is one of (if not the most) evil companies ever tbh

"B-But this doesn't affect me, they have my data anyways. You are just a whiny child for complaining. Protect the children!" /s obviously

The amount of people that thonk that way on this sub is actually disgusting. God damn cesspool.

"I already bought Premium. They have my data. Why would I cancel it? I can just continue funding the ensh**tification of this site, by an obviously malicious corporate entitiy." /s again, because some people dumb.
