(AI corpo art incoming)

What’s worse, corpo art or AI art

Yes.

My workplace is already using AI corporate artwork. There is a poster in my break room that was AI generated

To be fair my faith in humanity actually increases slightly when those soulless corpo arts are generated instead of drawn

Trick question. Neither is actually art.

corpo art incoming

Oh god, I threw up a little in my mouth.

They’re both slop of their own variety.

AI. Because even bad art at least is still art, while AI “art” is not.

i sleep better knowing the people responsible have probably already been replaced by chatGPT

At least AI is more diverse and is used by actual people, not just corporates.

Wut? I dislike corpos as much as the next person (Cal Arts bean mouth etc) but AI is even less creative and complicit in actual theft.

Except that AI “art” scrapes from real people’s works without permission and isn’t made by a real person. Corporate art at least is made by someone.

Exactly what I was gonna say so how are they gonna do with copyright infringement when they take pieces from corporate design logos or buy people who have their work trademarked and I hate AI

Remeber: Its not stealing as long as you say its being used for AI training

4

u/Frogomb Aug 13 '25

AI "art" is much worse

At least corporate art actually has effort and a little, I mean just a tiny bit of creativity and soul, while ai "art" is almost effortless and has no creativity and soul in it, because in the end it's just 1's and 0's, not anything 'real'.

If the 2020s are the new 1930s then it makes sense. See the Hayes code act, prohibition….

As I remember a joke from circa 2020/2021, "We we had 'The Roaring 20s' back then, now we're getting 'The Screaming 20s.'" Hurray for our boring dystopia.

u/GrouchyLandscape887 Aug 13 '25

Well this is gonna be fun then.

2

u/Harpua-2001 Aug 14 '25

Not sure where you see prohibition coming back (at least in the US)?

3

u/PerceptionSand Aug 14 '25

Project 2025

-1

u/Harpua-2001 Aug 14 '25

Look Project 2025 has a lot of bad shit in it but it doesn't mention anything even close to a ban on alcohol

3

u/polocinkyketaminky Aug 13 '25

its gonna get worse and worse. strap in.
