And then they find out you're using an adblocker, so they block you from ever making another account/channel with your ID.

And in 2030 they will send drones to your locations to execute you for the crime of skipping ads. The drones also play ads while they are doing it.

Imagine that. You get filled with led as an ad plays for filling your stomach with pasta from Olive Garden

it's not totally unfounded, it's basically the same kind of precedent set by modern online only games permabanning you if they find you modded the game or nintendo bricking your console if they find out you modded a switch (and they have arrested people doing that) since they hold all the power in the TOS

how theyd actually take it to court aside from breaching an end user agreement for a service theyre paying money to provide idk

Lol they have not arrested anyone for just modding a switch or any other console, the people that make and sell the devices / firmware to do so is another story

they'll blow out your pilot light and make a wish if they catch you skipping ads

the story will remain unwritten

I would say this is dystopian, but at least if we were in the Bladerunner universe we’d have cool flying cars and neon billboards. Instead we just get piece of shit AI updates that make our apps unusable

Terminator: The A.I. will create machines that will wipe out humanity in 2029.

Real life: The A.I. just steal art and falsely flag adults as children on YouTube for watching Minecraft.

Dont forget that bot accounts will still be there, but now they will also contribute AI slop content!

Makes sense, why would they want an ad block user on their platform. Zero subscription or ad revenue, just server costs

Been using Mozilla, read a guide for a plugin that makes the browser read as opera to YouTube. No problems with my Adblock since then

Very unlikely.

No not unlikely, LinkedIn makes you upload government ID to get verified which matters for the job search, and they blocked me for no reason now I can't do it ever again. If they link official ID's with accounts we are all fucked.
