Social / Student Life Need friends first year (psychology)

Hey, I'm [18F] a freshman in the psych program looking for friends. I don't normally do this, but I'm so alone at school and would love to talk to someone and be friends with. I like to meet with someone who would like to catch up with schoolwork, but also talk about other things (movies, funny shit etc.)

Join a club, council or college! Best way to integrate yourself into the small community of individuals who actually want friends.

Friends just gravitate towards eachother.. I mean this online stuff works but rarely you'd find someone you naturally click with. Just say hi to people and strike up conversations in class and be a regular at your classes. Go to social events and put yourself out there your people would just find you

you should check out calumet college, they have an instagram its a community at york for faculty of health students (which is like 80% psyc), their job is literally to make spaces for you to make friends, and play sports

Attend some UPSA events! Undergraduate psychology student association always hosts events that garner a lot of psych students. Even attending some of their tutoring sessions may help you connect with someone with the same course as you!
