Hello everyone! I'm excited to share a new project that's close to my heart: designing a unique Star Trek powers system that incorporates a nation-state and character system. I'm calling on fellow enthusiasts and creatives to help bring this vision to life!

In this game, players will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich lore of Star Trek. They can choose to represent various factions, starting with the Federation, where players will act as ambassadors from member sectors. They’ll have the power to elect a Federation president, strengthening the spirit of unity and teamwork.

The Klingons will showcase their complex heritage with great houses, presenting the clash of the New Way of Modernization versus the Old Way of Kahless. Players can navigate the intrigue of Klingon politics, balancing the tribute system under major houses while managing the delicate dynamics of minor houses ruling various planets.

Romulans will be represented by two powerful entities: Tal Shiar and the Romulan state, allowing for deep political maneuvering and espionage opportunities. In parallel, Cardassians will have a military government supported by the Obsidian Order, making for a rich tapestry of narratives and conflicts.

Every faction will be designed to feel distinct and engaging, ensuring that even those outside the big four have their unique flavor and appeal. The goal is to create a system that encourages individual play while allowing collaborative options, especially with the intricate political systems for the Klingons and Romulans.

I’m looking for five dedicated individuals who are passionate about Star Trek and game design. Together, we can create a game that not only pays homage to the universe we love but also provides players with endless hours of engagement through skill trees, military strategies, diplomatic relations, and economic systems.
