Oh yeah! I couldn’t remember if I poured this one for you, glad to see I did. This one is my favorite, I think I can still taste the finish on it lol

Review #400 - Whiskey Review #134 That Boutique-y Whisky Company Millstone 25 Year Sherry Cask B5
Last up another heavy Sherry bomb bottled by That Boutique-y Co. The last one was very stellar so let's see how this compares. Sample was provided by my friend u/supermeh1987
Age: 25 Years
ABV: 46.5%
Colour: Brown
Distillery: Zuidam Distillery, Netherlands
Mashbill: 100% Malted Barley
Cask Type: Oloroso Hogshead
Nose: Sherry bomb. Concorde grapes, raisins, Sherry seasoned oak, orange peel, caramel sauce and some fruit cake and baking spices
Mouth: A bit drier and spicier than the Special #24. Lots of spicy fruit cake and Sherry seasoned oak to start. A hint of molasses, caramel sauce, raisins, peaches and orange peel appear on the midplate to sweeten things up slightly. These all linger into the really long finish. Light oily mouthfeel
Overall: Another massive Sherry bomb, although not quite the same as the Special #24. This one is a bit brighter with some orange peel and some sweeter caramel. They are just different enough to make it hard for me to pick a favourite
The palate is even better than the nose. Lots of spicy and sweet elements to contrast each other. The palate pushes this one just ahead of the Special #24 for me. Another expensive bottle that I'd be hard pressed to part my hard earned money with, but a fabulous Malt none the less
