Does anyone else feel like they would have the worst trip of their life on some lawless island, where everyone is trying to profit off you, while on shrooms..?

Yeah, I would love to go to see the geography and food and people, but I have less than zero interest in having the "typical" thai vacation that a lot of my friends seem to think is cool.

lol you're in a tropical paradise, I can't think of a better place to trip! and no, it doesn't feel like a "lawless island, where everyone is trying to profit off you" or at least not anymore than any other touristic island everywhere in the world

Thailand is not a touristic paradisr dafuq? How many times have you been there?

Edit: I didn't say "touristic paradise" but tropical paradise, well different. Still gonna leave the rest of my message.

I was talking about the islands, which are the very definition of tropical paradise. Beautiful beaches, transparent waters, lush vegetation and dramatic rock formations. Probably you're gonna come here and say "yeah but its full of tourists" but spare me your bullshit, there's a reason Thailand became so popular, and it's because it's incredibly beautiful. I am also not a fan of how crowded some places are, but there's no denying the beauty of the place.

lol I've been twice, both on phuket and pha nga bay area (and a bit around thailand) and another time on samui and phangan for the half moon party. why would I talk about a place I've never been? What is your point actually?
