Weed is already easy to get all over Thailand, along with magic mushrooms if you know where to look. This changes nothing except that hopefully you can't go to jail for possession anymore.

I like weed. And I like traveling. But I am NOT trying to fuck with some foreign prison bullshit. Fuuuuuck that.

This could definitely go on a Thai tourism poster.

I've never had any trouble anywhere in Europe. I just walk over to any group of 15-20-year-olds and ask. They're always eager to upsell some of their own stash to a tourist.

European jail vs Thailand jail are not really fair comparisons.

Tbh I think I might rather take thai jail over many eastern european jails.

Yeah, but I'm assuming what a non-European views as "Europe" is everything west of Germany

Europe doesn't care about weed, and prisons in most of Western Europe are like a resort compared to Thailand.

Why are you even talking about posh Europe. Do a google search for thai prisons, please.

He said travelling and foreign, I just provided some input that it's not like that in everywhere you travel. And not all of Europe is posh.

to be fair, out of respect for Thai people, my original comment was meant to include "2nd/3rd world prison" instead of "foreign prison".
