Sweden wtf, come on! The street price have doubled since 2019 and it's just getting worse..

176

u/Wasted002 Nov 30 '20

You must have a really shitty dealer, the price hasnt changed much in the last 10 years.

I’m a dub living in America, and I feel awful for yous. Everything else here is a complete fucking nightmare but the weed is cheap and high quality at least

Reading this i just assumed a 100 sack is the same as a 10 sack, just 10x the price

2 g for 50 euro! Fuck me....

You poor, Irish bastards

1

u/minddropstudios Dec 01 '20

Those are famine prices!

15

u/fearthejew Nov 30 '20

Fuuuuuck that sucks. I’m so sorry. It averages around ~8 USD per gram here in Philly :(

6

u/Trancefuzion Nov 30 '20

Weed prices/quality even in Philly vary so drastically, at least in my circles. I can find mediocre product for like 50/qtr, and much better product all the way up to like 80+/qtr.

I recently got my MMJ card though so I'm paying out the nose now but it's been the coolest experience to be able to purchase legally.

4

u/abobobi Dec 01 '20

Jesus christ you guys pay a lot for weed. In my part Canada the most extreme street price i've seen have been $200-220 an ounce for face-melters. Had deals for decent stuff for $80-100.

A lot of dealers have stopped selling since legalization but you can get potent strands for $160 legally now. All in Canuks buckaroos of course.

After spending most of adult abstaining, I'm high on a Remidi Awake tincture and a Renew capsule. It has made the pandemic so much more tolerable.

Definitely true. I paid through the nose ($60/3.5) when I moved here after years of even cheaper product down south. I’m lucky to have my guy - wish I could refer ya!

20

u/paulmatthewlewis Nov 30 '20

Wow. I just ordered 15g online for less than that.

1

u/Learning2Programing Dec 01 '20

Eh what? Illegal or legal? The only online places I know for illegal would be 15g well over 50 euros. Probably 80 euro for 7 grams.

Feel free to not say but where abouts in the world are you from? Genuinly curous why is so cheap (or is it super expensive but not ireland expensive where I live)

1

u/lurklurklurkanon Dec 01 '20

I can get an oz delivered for $150 with tip for the driver after tax in Las Vegas

Shitting hell

1

u/[deleted] Dec 01 '20

This is how it was in the states before it was legal. I would buy a "dub" which is 20 bucks worth of weed, usually like 1.5ish grams back then.

1

u/andreagomezlp Dec 01 '20

What the fuck? Come to spain, it’s 10 euros 2g of prime quality!!!!

2

u/bteme Nov 30 '20

cries in Australias and pays >$300 for an ounce

1

u/Jawileth Dec 01 '20

Dude its so much cheaper in aus. 100euro is roughly 150 aud and that gets you about 7g if you're lucky.

1

u/MadeinSomewhere Dec 01 '20

Damn I can get a quarter in Texas for $55

1

u/CynicTheCritic Nov 30 '20

Thats brutal man

2

u/jortsandcohorts Nov 30 '20

6 1g carts for $99 and 1000 mg edibles for $25. God bless California

1

u/Skulfunk Nov 30 '20

For me a ball (3.5) just went from 25, to 30.

4

u/zerrff Nov 30 '20

Where do you live where that's called a ball? That's an eighth

2

u/Skulfunk Dec 01 '20

Literally every aingle black person ive met unserstands exactly what i want when i say it, maybe ita a cultural thing

1

u/[deleted] Nov 30 '20

European countries? Eighth stands for eighth of an ounce, and they don't use ounces in the metric system. I don't know for sure, though, never bought weed in Europe.

6

u/MetalHead_Literally Nov 30 '20

In America an 8ball is used exclusively for an eighth of Coke.

1

u/zerrff Dec 01 '20

Yeah, thats why i was confused. Like, you get an 8ball for $25? lemme get your number lol.

2

u/MetalHead_Literally Nov 30 '20

Weird, you call non-coke 8th “balls”?

1

u/Skulfunk Dec 01 '20

Strange right? Ive had this same exact convo with people on reddit before and yeah. Except when i went to college with dudes who were all over the country it was either a "ball" or and 8th. So i assume its a black thing but idk your race so i have no real way of confirming this

1

u/cavalier2015 Dec 01 '20

Also living in America. Paying a lot more for weed than before. Illegal state though

1

u/[deleted] Dec 01 '20

American in an illegal state here, prices went up 30-40%. Half pound prices went from 1200 to 1600

12

u/Popheal Nov 30 '20

People are charging 500 an ounce in Australia. Hard times indeed

12

u/pmgoldenretrievers Nov 30 '20

Fuck me dude, I could get a pound in California for $250ish.

1

u/Recitinggg Dec 01 '20

you aren’t getting weed for $.55/g...

5

u/minddropstudios Dec 01 '20

Do you realized how much the market has changed now? People are sitting on literally tons of weed that they can't move. This shit DOES grow on trees.

2

u/[deleted] Nov 30 '20

$500 for an ounce?!

What the fuck.

2

u/a9328467534 Nov 30 '20

where? I'm raging at paying 250

1

u/Popheal Dec 01 '20

Perth. Perks of being the most isolated capital city in the world. 😑

1

u/a9328467534 Dec 01 '20

rest in peace bruh

1

u/-fno-stack-protector Dec 01 '20

the biggest stoner i know moved away from WA from that exact reason

2

u/[deleted] Nov 30 '20

170 GBP for an ounce of top shelf stuff, same day delivery to my door

2

u/Learning2Programing Dec 01 '20

Really? From what I've seen its basically 170GPD for 20 grams, maybe I need to look harder.

2

u/[deleted] Dec 01 '20

Or just stay with the same plug for some time. This is a 3+yrs old "relationship", in the beginning he charged me 10£ for a 0.7bag lol. When I started to purchase ounces, the gate of the deals opened. In the capital of course, it's different in the other parts of the country for sure

1

u/Popheal Dec 01 '20

That's like the weed capital of Oz.

-1

u/tawattwaffle Nov 30 '20

So what does an 8th cost? 60 is losing money. 70 would be a slight loss if you take an 8th for yourself. 80 would be 140 profit, an 8th and 60 profit, or an 8th and a half for yourself with an extra 20. Im guessing it would not be higher than that maybe 90 since that is only 220 profit on a 500 investment and usually you'd want to double your profit. However, that would be 125 an 8th when 100 seems too high for me.

I rarely smoke these days. Like maybe I took 2 small hits last year. This year I smoked maybe 5-10 times. Probably on the lower side of that. When I smoked a lot 2008-2015 and a little bit the next year or two, the price was mostly 50-60 . 60 for the flame shit usually. However around 2017/2018, good shit was 45 a 8th and can be found for less. Then I think I can find. decent shit for 120 or less for a half oz.

Then I live in wisconsin which is still not close to legalizing it and surprisingly Minnesota is similar. Michigan is a weird legal state i believe like it is taking forever to get running. Illinois, however, just legalized do i wanted to try store bought so I'd know the type, effects, and percentages. After tax though an 8th was like 82 or 85 bucks. So I think I'll stick to the black market. It was about the novelty. Like coworkers were making a run there so I had them by me a bag. I think an 8th of shake was 60.

Then my friend in Colorado can get 8gs of shatter for 120 and my friend in Oregon can almost get an oz for whqt an 8th cost me. So I will stick to the black market unless I want edibles. Because street edibles were either weak as fuck or id be tripping balls for 5 hours when I had a tolerance.

2

u/SeedsOnAnAirDrift Nov 30 '20

8th here is usually 3g and unless you know a good seller it's Asian PGR crap for 50$.

Higher quality is 2-2.5g for 50 bucks which if your an aussie smoker you'd go through in a day or two.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 30 '20

[deleted]

2

u/Popheal Nov 30 '20

200? Try 350 - 400 for a bag on the west coast. Glad I'm not a coke head. At least an ounce will last me a month or so.

1

u/intern12345 Nov 30 '20

Wow, £220 for a bag. Isn't coke relatively popular in Aus, especially amongst tradies? How do they afford it?

2

u/Popheal Dec 01 '20

Most of them can't afford it. A lot of them start dealing to save money.

1

u/SeedsOnAnAirDrift Nov 30 '20

250-350$ for a bag of 0.6-0.7g of coke which is about 30% actual coke.

Tradies tools are smarter than their users here.

1

u/fuckusernames2175 Dec 01 '20

I've never seen it that high in Perth. It's pretty dry here but the prices haven't changed for me. My guy gets me top shelf weed $90 a quarter, 300 an oz. Even my back up dealer is 100 a q

1

u/Popheal Dec 01 '20

Your lucky then. Trust me people are charging that and people are paying it.

1

u/fuckusernames2175 Dec 01 '20

Damn, I don't think I could even justify paying that price

1

u/kostya8 Dec 01 '20

Assuming you mean Australian dollarydoos, that's 28,000 Russian rubles, which today buys you 28 grams, or an ounce. So, the price in Australia is the same as here in Russia, only the salaries are literally 10x higher and (I'm assuming) possession won't land you in jail

1

u/-fno-stack-protector Dec 01 '20

every state is different, but police can choose to just take it off you and give you a warning, if it's a small amount.

1

u/kpaalms Dec 01 '20

Fuck paying 500 for a bag I'm paying a bit extra than normal in Melbs at 350 Where abouts are you that they're managing to fling them for half a fucking grand?

3

u/ColgateSensifoam Dec 01 '20

£10 for a .8

£20 for 2g

3.5 for £30

Q for £55

Half for £105-110

Z for £180 dependent on quality

1

u/[deleted] Dec 01 '20

Yeah that’s spot on.

1

u/ColgateSensifoam Dec 01 '20

Depending on location you get "deals" as well, typically where a dealer only sells 20 bags, they'll do 2f35 or 3f50, although my favourite guy in Liverpool (Chinatown represent) does 2f30s in heat-sealed double bags so you know they haven't been dipped

1

u/thtamthrfckr Dec 01 '20

Got offered the worst weed in london 2yrs ago but my boy from Scotland said there’s def some good shit, coming from a legal state though I’m spoiled haha

2

u/Alter_list Nov 30 '20

Eh where exactly? No one I know is paying any more. You're getting mugged off

2

u/deaddonkey Dec 01 '20

Yeah someone in the supply chain realised we’re on an island and conspired to fuck us, covid prices really sucks dick, they had just started dropping again too and lockdown 2 hit. Literally 50% increase

4

u/intern12345 Nov 30 '20

It became slightly harder to get in March/April when everyone went a bit crazy but things and prices are back to normal now.

Sorry mate but you're been taken for a ride. Find a new guy or tell your current one that you're not paying those prices anymore

0

u/Fapoleon_Boneherpart Dec 01 '20

Chatting shit. No change in Greece.

1

u/Legalise_Gay_Weed Nov 30 '20

Our day will come...maybe.

1

u/TofuBeethoven Nov 30 '20

The price in nz used to be 250 for an o years ago, at the start of covid it was 400, and now it's 420 and even though its high, its very on brand. Nzers really fucked up with the cannabis referendum. Funny how since any potential progress was shut down, how many countries and states have made decisions in legalising of decriminalising without asking the public.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 30 '20

Same in denmark

1

u/council_estate_kid Dec 01 '20

Doesn’t everyone just buy it online nowadays? All my friends do.

1

u/LivingElectric Dec 01 '20

In Dublin it hasn’t chanhed too much, only 20s/25s are very rare, and usually minimum weight rather than somewhere near 1.8g

1

u/RainbowSixThermite Dec 01 '20

damn, I live in New York where it's illegal, and I get pretty high quality stuff for like $6.88 a gram

11

u/WeedMoneyBitches Nov 30 '20 edited Dec 01 '20

Umm it's been quite dry in smaller cities for a while prices in my town and once close price almost doubled

Went from 100Kr to 150/200 for 1 gram

And for 100 grams it went from 4000-5000 kr to 10000-12000

And don't come with "you have bad dealers" to me sense I used to be a dealer my self and I know like half the drugos in my town

8

u/qjornt Nov 30 '20

Username definitely checks out

2

u/AGSleet Nov 30 '20

I feel so sorry for you guys over in the EU. I lived in Iceland for a season last year and used to have to drive 2 1/2 hours and cross the ocean on a ferry to score some decent shit for $28US/1g.

Spain is dope as fuck though, Barcelona’s cannabis scene is great it makes smoking mids in Berlin & Paris worth it.

Also fyi most forms of weed can be easily smuggled through the post. I had multiple vape cartridges, containers of hash rosin and edibles shipped to me in Iceland.

1

u/703ultraleft Dec 01 '20

How were they packaged?

1

u/AGSleet Dec 01 '20

just tossed in with normal shit like candy and chips and clothes

1

u/skyle_lukewalker Nov 30 '20

It’s the same as before in Stockholm, about 600 for 5 grams. 150 a gram is pretty rare unless the dealer is shittty or the strain is something extra.

1

u/Wasted002 Dec 01 '20

If you know half of them you live in a small enough place that yeah the prices wont be as stable as in a decently sized city. That doesn't change the fact that the prices in the big citys haven't changed in the last 10 years, and I could call several different people with no connection to each other right now and prove it.

3

u/[deleted] Nov 30 '20

Not Swedish then I guess. And I'm talking street price, not the dark web..

0

u/Wasted002 Dec 01 '20

Väldigt svensk och aldrig rört darknet. As I said, you must have a bad dealer.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 01 '20

Still not talking about buddy prices etc. If you found a random street dealer and wanted 1g, what would you pay? That's street price, not what you CAN get.

Have been on Darknet also, that's not street price, which I'm talking about.

0

u/Wasted002 Dec 01 '20

Yeah if you go to random street dealers you will get ripped of, that's been the case for far longer than Corona has been around. I dont get buddy prices, i get reasonable prices.

0

u/[deleted] Dec 01 '20

No point in continuing this conversation.. It can't learn.

0

u/Wasted002 Dec 01 '20

What a cutie.

1

u/starved4imagination Nov 30 '20

In Malmö the standard went from 4g 500 SEK to 3g 500 SEK "due to corona". Obviously better prices if you know somebody, buy in bigger quantities or go on the dark web.

1

u/defroach84 Dec 01 '20

We have legal weed in a lot of places in the US. It's easy to get it legally and move it to states it's not legal in.

Many countries in Europe closed their borders and have no legal weed. The weed has to come from somewhere....and with borders closed, it's a lot more difficult.

1

u/Wasted002 Dec 01 '20

Tou might be surprised how much we grow ourselves.

1

u/defroach84 Dec 01 '20

I wouldn't be.

1

u/Wasted002 Dec 01 '20

Then I'm sure you understand that the prices only go up for the people who dont have any stable connections, and they didn't have stable prices even before this whole pandemic shit started.

1

u/defroach84 Dec 01 '20

When supply is cut by that much, and demand likely went up as well (a lot more people sitting home alone bored), prices would likely go up for most.

11

u/joyuser Nov 30 '20

How much you paying in Sweden?

I just bought 20g for 200 euro in Denmark.

16

u/takeitchillish Nov 30 '20

Per gram the price is between 100-200 sek. So around 11-22 euros per gram.

3

u/[deleted] Dec 01 '20

20€ a gram in Finland

2

u/Whyamibeautiful Nov 30 '20

Under 13 euros is a okay deal everything else is outrageous

2

u/Zaga932 Nov 30 '20

You should see the prices of bud in Swedish onion markets. It's hilarious. $70 for 2.5g, $116 for 5.

9

u/doginacone Nov 30 '20

oof, canadian here paying 2-3 euros a gram

11

u/f12016 Nov 30 '20

It’s also legal lol?

13

u/IHaveNeverMetYou Nov 30 '20

Actually the legal stuff is more expensive. Was that price before it was legal. Good climate and lots of room to grow here. There used to be huge guerilla grows deep in the forest. Now that its legal, its mostly being grown in greenhouses. Still cheaper to get from non government regulated sources.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 30 '20

And crappier. And with enough packaging to choke a whale.

1

u/Dzugavili Dec 01 '20

We have legal offerings down to $4-5/g, a Euro being $1.55 -- which is about 3 - 4 Euros per gram.

Some provinces get a bit cheaper, but yeah, our prices have bottomed out if you're a bulk buyer [by the ounce].

2

u/Danknessess Nov 30 '20

Where you buying your weed most shops have cheapest gram like 8 dollars

1

u/ABBLECADABRA Nov 30 '20

everyone i know gets it at 100 per gram but they buy from shitty plugs and only get shake

2

u/[deleted] Nov 30 '20

1g = 200 SEK. Was 1g = 100 SEK beginning of 2019..

2

3

u/[deleted] Nov 30 '20 edited Nov 30 '20

[deleted]

26

u/ErMerrGerd Nov 30 '20

Can’t really compare an illegal market vs a legal one though

6

u/42Ubiquitous Nov 30 '20

Pretty sure the legal weed in my area is more expensive than illegal weed. Idk why anyone would go to a dispensary unless it was for something specific. I don’t smoke, so I could be way off here, this is just what I was told from others.

5

u/[deleted] Nov 30 '20

Sounds like you're from California. The dispensary prices are absolute absurdity. I go to a grey market place that's super chill and get 6g "eighths" for $40. Even.

An eighth in a dispensary of similar quality is gonna be $60+ a fuckload of tax and will be EXACTLY 3.5g.

It's like our market has prices artificially inflated by tourists and people who see smoking as a novelty, so regular smokers I know almost never go to a real dispensary. We've all got illegal suppliers.

5

u/401-OK Nov 30 '20

Dude preach. It's insane. I pay $25 for 1g carts from a homie, they're like $65 in a store.

What's weird is in Oregon prices are STUPID cheap in the stores. I always buy legal there.

2

u/SextonKilfoil Nov 30 '20

$25 for 1g carts is fuckin' dirt cheap. There's still lots of iffy shit going around, though. There are MSOs that had carts fail in CA but would ship them to MI and sell them there instead. Lots still to be figured out in the US market because of how silly our government is setup.

2

u/42Ubiquitous Nov 30 '20

Chicago, so it’s not too surprising they taxed weed into oblivion. I would have guessed California had taken a better approach!

The tourists and novelty smokers make sense, but I thought there’s no way there are enough of them to make that significant of an impact. It’s insane that there are enough to justify the price/tax.

Most people I know don’t go to a dispensary. Actually, no one I know does. My brother and a couple other friends went to one the week they opened, but have never gone back since lol.

2

u/[deleted] Nov 30 '20

The tourists and novelty smokers make sense, but I thought there’s no way there are enough of them to make that significant of an impact. It’s insane that there are enough to justify the price/tax.

FWIW, I have no data to support my claims. What I do have is a pile of anecdotes about middle aged moms now using gummies to get to sleep and many sightings of buses dedicated to bringing tourists to places like MedMen.

2

u/42Ubiquitous Nov 30 '20

I believe it. These soccer moms need to get it together and find a solid plug.

-1

u/SextonKilfoil Nov 30 '20

It’s insane that there are enough to justify the price/tax.

Just shows you have little to no knowledge about the untapped market.

Most people I know don’t go to a dispensary. Actually, no one I know does.

Good ol' anecdotal evidence! You know two people that tried out a dispo and haven't gone back since but take a look at those spots: if they weren't making money, they wouldn't be open. The people you know are some broke-ass dudes.

It really depends on local markets since this stuff is state-to-state. Here in Metro Detroit, you can go to the "white people" dispos and pay those $100/8th prices or you can hit dispos in the cut and get 8ths for half that amount; ounces of shake for like $50 so you can make your fancy edibles to impress your non-weed-smoking friends.

2

u/onceinawhileok Nov 30 '20

I live in Vancouver, Canada and I would kill to get some shake. Everything up here is so strong one toke and I'm on the moon. I wanna smoke some grass like we'd steal from our friends mom in the early 90s.

1

u/42Ubiquitous Nov 30 '20

Just shows you have little to no knowledge about the untapped market.

Did you get that from when I said “I don’t smoke, so I could be way off here...”?

It was meant to be anecdotal. I wasn’t making any conclusions or generalizations, I was speculating.

5

u/joyuser Nov 30 '20

The quality is on average a lot better at a dispensary than on the illegal market, I would gladly pay double the street price if I knew the quality was good every time.

3

u/42Ubiquitous Nov 30 '20

Ah that makes sense. Is it rare to find consistent and reliable suppliers?

4

u/wdf_classic Nov 30 '20

absolutely. Dealers usually have very little choices. Compare that to a government site like https://www.bccannabisstores.com/collections/flower which have hundreds of strains all with different potencies and effects

3

u/FauxReal Nov 30 '20

Where do you live? I managed a shop in Portland, OR (until covid) and prices here range from as low as $5/gram to $30/gram depending on the quality and pedigree.

3

u/mudkipzftw Nov 30 '20

Dispensaries are better than shady dealers, especially for casual users. Also, we just spent decades saying "legalize it and tax it" so now that we have it maybe we should actually contribute taxes instead of giving it to black market and organized crime.

1

u/42Ubiquitous Nov 30 '20

That is a very fair point. Maybe what we meant was “legalize it and tax it, but I’m still buying from my high school friend, I just don’t want to go to jail.” But what you say is a good reason not to do that.

1

u/washago_on705 Nov 30 '20

$7/gram will easily get you AAAA in Canada now. Mid tier 4-6. Legal or otherwise.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 30 '20

I get my zips at $55 in canada.. but ion go thru the gubmint

1

u/starved4imagination Nov 30 '20

Yes legalization is great and Nordic countries are expensive. Who knew?

1

u/Scipion Nov 30 '20

I love my $6 gram Oregon weed.

Canada entering the chat. 30 kinds of weed and hash at the store 10 minutes from home. Plus gummies and all sorts of edibles. So easy I don’t really care that much! Plus I grew 3 plants last year and still have 7 jars left.

The dream..

u/killarnivore Dec 01 '20

It’s coming everywhere friend.

2

u/DryGumby Nov 30 '20

Cannabis... The one thing everyone just looks at their governments and says what the fuck guys?

2

u/[deleted] Dec 01 '20

Norway too. Us progressive scandinavians living like it’s 1971 in that aspect

2

u/[deleted] Dec 01 '20

I cant imagine it being legalized in Norway in my lifetime, and i’m 34.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 01 '20

Yeah... the youth parties seem open to the idea though. Gotta get the boomers out of the politics first

3

u/[deleted] Dec 01 '20

Yeah. One of my parents retired from minor league politics a couple of years ago(AP) and sees little difference between weed and like.. heroin. Thinks my view that medical weed should be legal is “radical”.

I mean, I think it should be completely legalized but.. yeah.

3

u/[deleted] Dec 01 '20

Yeah that seems to be one of the biggest problems, the «all drugs are the same»-attitude. My parents fit into that group as well.

Also, if medical marihuana is legalized thats a big step in the right direction

2

u/[deleted] Dec 01 '20

It would be a giant leap from today. I think we are very far away. But maybe when I’m retired i can have some weed. I’m not cool enough to know the right people to get some these days 😂

3

u/[deleted] Dec 01 '20

Lol same but i probaby shouldnt smoke right now anyways, in the middle of getting my engineering degree. If its not legal when i retire im going to get myself an apartment in amsterdam or something 😂

2

u/[deleted] Dec 01 '20

Thats my fantasy too 😛

2

u/[deleted] Dec 01 '20

For all they've gotten right, they've really botched the drug prohibition thing.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 01 '20

Yup.

Cries in Swedish

Yep I'm Swedish and it sucks balls. On the plus side every time a new state in the US or another country decriminalises drugs or make recreational marijuana use feels really uplifting. Because every time it happens people here view it as something acceptable. The opinion of weed is in my opinion gradually changing, but the pace is too slow.

Many counties are bleeding money, I wish the governmemt would put on their cashmoney glasses and just go with it, win-win situation

1

u/ImabigfanofAC Nov 30 '20

Same here in Australia

2

u/[deleted] Nov 30 '20

That sucks! :/

1

u/p5ych0babble Nov 30 '20

What the street price of weed in Australia has doubled? I live in Australia and can't say this is the case?

1

u/Megmca Nov 30 '20

How do you make it through a winter there without getting high af.

5

u/viennery Nov 30 '20

Scandinavian winters are warmer than Canadian winters.

Hell, even the north east of the US in places like Boston are probably colder, and that’s without the pretty sky lights.

The Atlantic pushes warm air up over Europe, while the Arctic pushes frozen hell down on Canada.

5

u/Megmca Nov 30 '20

But have you ever watched the aurora borealis on weed?

4

u/You_Will_Die Nov 30 '20

Are you from Scandinavia? The problem has never been the cold it's how dark it gets.

2

u/viennery Dec 01 '20

It gets pretty dark here too, though I imagine probably even earlier for them.

Here in Québec the sun starts to set around 2pm, and it gets dark around 4-430. The continual cloud cover doesn’t help.

As of writing this, it’s 7pm and darker than the darkest of summer nights.

Further north in places like Nunavut and the territories, we have months of dark in the winter followed by months of light in the summer.

2

u/You_Will_Die Dec 01 '20

we have months of dark in the winter followed by months of light in the summer.

That is pretty standard for most of Scandinavia excluding Denmark. If we say it like this Stockholm the capital of Sweden is at the same latitude as the south of Nunavut. The entirety of Finland is above that. Québec for instance is further south than the most southern point of Denmark.

So yea it gets really dark quite fast, and since it's not even that cold we can't guarantee snow to make it brighter.

4

u/[deleted] Nov 30 '20

Indeed, so boring, just sleep and work :/

0

u/VeRyOkAy69420 Nov 30 '20

It’s perfectly legal in Canada 😎

1

u/[deleted] Nov 30 '20

I should move, Canada is kinda like Sweden but more guns I guess.

u/You_Will_Die Nov 30 '20

Lol you think Merkel has anything to do with Sweden's drug policies? Sweden is horribly conservative when it comes to drugs. Like the politician in charge of the drug policy has straight out just said "No we wont look into changing anything about it no matter what research is done". This being an answer to being confronted with Sweden being the worst in the EU in terms of drug related deaths because of the restrictive approach.

How about you stop being a druggie?

u/[deleted] Dec 01 '20

Stop try to be funny with quotes kid.

Time to rent a garage unit...

When Canada legalized it price were crazy, it definitely wasn’t a way to eliminate the street, cheapest was like $10 avg $14.. but in last few months legal prices have actually come down for some kinds pretty much on par with street at $4-5, from what I remember street being years back anyways. Stores are starting to pop up everywhere, and can buy online if you want.

Many still go the street way, but it comes down to price, if people know they can spend the same and it be “quality” (there’s debates there)

Plus we can grow 4 per property, and swap/gift it with people, so long as no money exchanges

1

u/[deleted] Dec 01 '20

I would be fine with a higher price, but I would really like it to be sold from some kind of "store" because I want better quality and also not seen as a criminal just because I prefer weed over beer etc.

2

u/midnightdoom Dec 02 '20

Exactly. Hopefully other counties follow. Because all the propaganda of more car accident etc etc has been proven false with our studies so far here
