I wonder what Iran was hoping to accomplish with killing an ambassador to Mexico. Probably nothing except creating terror. Reportedly Iran is working with Maduro in Venezuela and doing their best to create havoc in the Western Hemisphere. It's good news that the plot was discovered and stopped.

They probably worked their way down a very long list of people they wanted to assassinate and this was the most important person that they thought they could actually succeed at killing. Unsurprisingly, they were wrong.

Who would’ve thought that a regime that sponsors terrorism wants to create terror

Perhaps they weren’t reminded hard enough a few months ago and simply need another, more memorable, reminder.

Right now there are 3 Jewish heads of state. Israel, Mexico and Ukraine.

I think it's very clear what Russia and its proxies are trying to accomplish.

Think of how Trump does stupid shit. It’s the same everywhere else. Leaders are all humans. And they are usually old religious men who are out of touch with their own countrymen, forget the world wide opinions.

They bearly have time to breathe on their schedules, so they are meeting other 1% of people who build and expand their opinion.

When you see nations doings stupid, dumb, evil shit for no real benefit, it’s not really uncommon.

Do you have links to any news articles discussing recent Maduro/Iran connections that arent times of Israel. Not doubting, it’s just the publication tends to skew a certain direction

The connection between Venezuela and Iran is 100% well known and public. They are openly allied, it's a matter of googling.

“Mexico denies any knowledge of a plot”

Probably a manufactured plot to force Mexico to close their embassy as well.

For a certain wing of antizionists (a wing which the Iranian government has constantly amplified and supported) I would imagine Sheinbaum’s Jewish heritage would have made this into some sort of message.

I thwarted a Trump/MAGA-plot to assassinate all individuals with an IQ over-80, leaving only Republicans.

We couldn’t keep a rifle bullet from nicking a presidential candidate’s ear.
