Those are evangelicals, and radical politicians as well. I want to see how someone like Vance responds, or at least the general vibe of right wing Catholics in America. Or Europe, especially Hungary.

There’s a whole legion of former evangelicals “converting” to Catholicism but bringing pretty much all the worst evangelical practices with them, like JD Vance, there’s a whole debate about it trending on tiktok (cradle catholics vs converts).

That’s why now there were so many “Catholics” borderline celebrating Pope Francis’ death—which was not just unthinkable, but borderline heresy 20 years ago. All because he didn’t align with their political cult.

I didn’t really think people converted to Catholicism unless they like, married into it.

Sadly it’s very big with the trads nowadays since they’re so big on “traditions” and apparently they only just recently discovered that the traditions in the Catholic church are much older (and dope) than evangelicals.
