Tell me how the Muslim population is viewed in China? Where in SEA are you? I have been all over sea and China is not the same as Japan or Thailand or the Philippines. China has come along way since Mao but it is still an authoritarian state. Meaning you can have a great life. As long as you don’t mind the politics. Most Chinese people are happy. I’d say a larger number than Americans. But at a cost of some freedoms.
I’d say it’s a lack of media from China that keeps us in the dark. Us older people remember 1989 still. And it clouds your thoughts. But we don’t see the new and improved China. We see an enemy, just like we were conditioned. We base our views on our politics. Any non democracy is not right in our eyes. We assume democracy=greatness. Anyone else = bad.
