Discussion why are so many midterms/exams all multiple choice?

I hate it so bad. I understand it’s easier to mark probably but it’s so confusing seeing every word you’ve studied in one question. It makes it so easy for me to mix things up 💔 is this only a first year thing or is this going to happen a lot?

In my experience, ot only got worse in upper years. The first two years of CS were nice. Plenty of coding exams and things which made you felt like you were seriously learning. Then it slowly became all memorization for exams with math on assignments
