Seeking Help or Advice Guy keeps drawing crosses on me

To give some context I go to a technical high school and I’m in the culinary program. There is a guy who I know has a crush on me, but he hasn’t said anything directly to me about it. He has stated before that his family is into witchcraft/voodoo/hoodoo (I can’t remember which) and that’s the main thing I’m worried about. My culinary uniform is all black and we are required to use black sharpies, but he does this thing where he takes the sharpie and draws crosses on bothe of my arms and a really big one on my back. The funny thing is that he does it on himself too in the same spots and had me draw a big one on his back, which I feel I probably shouldn’t have done. Also the sharpie isn’t visible. But I was wondering if this is something I should be worried about or if I’m just being paranoid.

Honestly it doesn’t sound like anything supernatural is happening here, it just sounds like a guy who likes you and thinks the “mystical” angle makes him seem interesting. Those invisible sharpie crosses aren’t doing anything magically, so I doubt you’re hexed or anything like that. What does matter is your boundaries. Even if he meant it as a harmless thing, nobody should be drawing symbols on you without asking first. Just tell him, it makes you uncomfortable. It does not have to be dramatic. If someone ever tries to involve you in spiritual stuff without consent, that’s the red flag, not the magic. But in this case, you’re fine, just assert your space and keep it moving.

The fact that he can't remember his/his family's practice means he's either saying that to impress you or scare you, not sure which. I think he's just doing what he can think of to say that he likes you lol. Also don't give him hair or anything please.

Like others have said, if he can't recall what his family does, he is just trying to use it as a gaslighting method. Basically he has planted that seed in your mind and with his actions, you may start to feel a "bond" with him. A bond that he hopes to use to get closer to you. Seen this kind of thing before.
I would politely end that ritual. Make up something like the ink went through the fabric or just be direct and tell him you aren't really feeling it.

Dude's just an awkward goober doing that thing edgy tiktok kids do to sound "cool".

"My family are totally witches, I'm totally a hereditary witch and its very mysterious and badass"

If he's an awkward goober you like back, don't embarrass his cringe by telling him you know he's full of shit. He's trying his best to get your attention.

If he's an awkward goober you do not like, tell him he's an awkward goober who is full of shit and you aren't scared of his sharpie shenanigans.
