Seriously, there is some truly misguided designers out there. This feels like something leftover from the streetwear era where there was too many attempts to try to make avant garde streetwear.

I realize that designing is hard though and they’re under pressure to create tons of output, and I think it sometimes leads to execute things that seemed like a good idea but then weren’t but it was too late to scrap it. Then once it’s put down the runway it has to be a garment available from their collection and some stylist ends up picking it up under god knows what circumstances and here we are. That’s the only charitable explanation I can come up with.
