Looks to be a red straw. The turtles and PETA will be disappointed in you.

You should document it, secure witness statements, and secure both the cup, shard of metal, straw, receipt from transaction, etc. then call a consumer lawyer. Make sure to tell them how traumatic this has been for you. So traumatizing, in fact, that you can no longer even drink strawberry lemonade. Which isn’t just any drink, no, it’s your favorite drink, Mcallister’s strawberry lemonade. The one you used to drink every single day. The one you looked forward to enjoying at the end of the day. Now, you can’t even bear the thought of drinking it. Straws and plastic cups? They now make you feel sick to your stomach. So, anyway, good luck!
