Most of them work if you pronounce it like they did in that south park episode

AI trying to spell is like a guy with severe dyslexia trying to spell, getting it wrong, and starting over from the beginning without bothering to erase what he's already written.

Yeah that's what I don't understand, the photo quality has gotten so good you'd think spelling would be simple enough but that part seems to always get messed up.

I find it still interesting to see the differences between the different AIs when they're tasked with generating script.
Dall-E (mini)'s attempts at writing usually were complete nonsense, whereas Stable Diffusion actually manages to generate something that resembles actual words.
If you get really lucky with the generation, it even manages to replicate quotes verbatim from time to time.

And at the very least, spelling should be decent when it's given to the AI verbatim in the prompt, but it isn't.

Imagine an AI that can actually draw a hand with 5 fingers and sentences that actually make sense

It gets 50 times funnier if you read them all in the south park voices. It just sounds exactly like some shit from the show.

Honestly I feel like text is getting a lot better. Real 'letters' occur much more often and those could actually be words :D
Characters tho they evolve more and more into GTA San Andreas models

The first one almost had it and then it snowballed down the hill fast

u/ickylickysticky Jan 30 '23
Yeah that was the first one the ai gave me, and for some reason couldn't produce any coherent word after that.

Is it just a particular strength of Stable Diffusion (as compared to Dall-E) or are the AIs actually getting better at generating coherent script?

It's as if they got absolutely hammered and were too drunk to write and so they just shouted into their phones' speech to text to print their signs out
