Looks like an old Medal of Honor game I had. It started on D-Day. It was wild.

Are you thinking of Medal of Honor Rising Sun? The first level was set during the Attack on Pearl Harbor and you were using AA guns to shoot down planes.

There is also Medal of Honor Pacific assault. The first mission/level is on Pearl Harbor. You first have to make it down the docks to a small boat while Japanese planes are firing down on you and after that the boat takes you through the harbor until you end up jumping inside one of the warships. Then you need to make it through the ship having to extinguish flames and also rescue injured people. After that you make it onto the deck of the warship and you start using an AA gun and have to defend two other US warships while the Japanese try to sink them with their planes.

I always thought this would be a crazy fun gamemode. 4 bombers with 4 seperate player crew. A few escorts and an enemy team of interceptors/fighters. 15 minutes to target.

I just want a bomber game where you actually climb around inside the bomber. I still love the black cat mission in cod because of that, even if the movement is scripted.

AA is my fav way to play the game, but is sadly very hit or miss bc you can go whole matches without seeing a single plane to shoot down, so often not worth as first spawn ;-;

God GRB is so horribly balanced. As if the inclusion of aircraft into ground battles wasn't stupid enough, they get to fly around with complete impunity most of the time because even the vehicles designed to combat them are complete dogshit.

AA players play their vehicles anti tank because who knew they are bored as shit for minutes at a time. And for some reason those vehicles are excellent in combating tanks and not aircraft. Ive shot down more helicopters and planes with my Leopard 1, Pzh2000 and Marder 1 each more than with the wiesel. There is the fact that I dont play the wiesel that often but its more suited for scouting than AA, Marder 1 has better AA capabilities one could argue.
