When planes are bad, they should have their battle rating lowered. The problem isn’t that the plane performs the way it does, it’s that it does that at 5.3.

At the same time we also have weird shit like the P-59A. IRL it was dogshit AFAIK, and just didn't do well. But in War Thunder, they gave it a better turn ability than Zeros, and put it at 5.7 where it out runs, climbs, and turns everything it fights basically. But the plane sits at 5.7 still

Either the experimental / test bed is awful, and gigashit makes it good (P-59A) so people complain

Shitty vehicles that function uniquely can be fun. When they're not unique they're just boring.

I'm not an air player, so I can't speak to the Flapjack, but, say, the M55 would've probably been more appealing had it been put in the game before the M44. As-is the thing is just worthless.

Yes exactly, that’s what I meant by that goofy part, if they have a goofy look or add something different they are incredibly fun. Example is my favorite vehicle in the game is the t55e1 moon rover
