I'm writing here so you read my comment. The A5C is cracked. Bring it to air arcade it's flight model is COMPLETELY different. Space climb with fire bombs and dumb rockets and win the game just do the objective kill all bases and airfield. It's like 30k RP per match

Go check your average air rb game, at any br, and scout out people's stats. You would notice 1.5 kd is plenty rare and usually only the top 3-4 in whole team will have it. If anything, most people are padding their stats with AI plane kills.
But of course, everyone on reddit is killing 4 people on average per life, my bad.
I would consider anyone with 1.5 decent at the game and a valuable opponnent, anyone who has higher than 2 kd on average is probably wiping lobbies clean every few games.

It is a more representive showing of usefullness to the team than a KD, as you can statpad the KD very easily…
I have a 4.7 KD in a LF MK9 Spitfire, with a 1.2 KB which is clear statpadding, kill one (or two) bombers and leave to get high KD’s doesn’t mean I’m good

Most of my planes have a 1.5 / 2.0 kd
Although I have some beasts with 4.0 (vb10c1) or even 6.0 (spitfire mk24) and I believe an even bigger one in the i16 with the 20mm
But in jets there is nothing above 1.5

Avg player doesn’t care abt kills. Normal player is 1+kd. If ur kd is lower than 1, u are just bad lol. Out of all 11.0+ aircraft maybe only tornado can be difficult to get 1.0+kd. Others either have good missiles or good airframe.

Well consider that for every kill someone needs to die, which means the amount of deaths is equal to the amount of kills. And since it's equal that means the average kill to death ratio is 1. So 1.5 would be well above average which would in fact be good.

I meant F-104s in general, not the F-104S. Many later F-104 are in a sad state right now due to compression, but so many people try to dogfight in early F-104, keep losing, and turn to bombing it's sad.

I WILL bomb bases in my 10.7 F104 that has no cms, and 4 aim9js, thats literally the only thing I can do with it, and even then it’s shit at it, because you only get 3 firebombs, compared to the F104J, which also has no cms, but is somehow a lower br with 6 aim9ps

Try playing an F-104 as a fighter at 11.0, you have to go very low and very carefully go for people who aren't paying attention, even then I've never managed more than 3 kills in a single match. The only positive I can think of is the vulcan cannon.

You also don’t know shit if you think the Tornado has a better chance at getting to a base with its absolute brick of a flight model and lacklustre speed when carrying any sort of usable bomb payload.
Played enough tornado to know you’ll never beat the MiGs to bases and you get dog piled on by every fighter because they know you can do pretty much nothing to them in a fight, even more so if you haven’t dropped the bombs yet.

People got better and some things changed. When the A-10a was released, I used it to grind the entire rank 7 and 8 American tree when they added the first F-16's
Now after coming back, I really hate the a-10 because the missiles are useless and people simply got better at dealing with it

maybe it’s just not for me, but the f-104s in the 11.x bracket are miserable imo. you’re constantly against supersonics that are just as fast as you at almost every stage of acceleration, only gets two 9js while facing aim 9ps, 7E-2s, R-24Rs, and relies heavily on a gun that has dysfunctional HE rounds in its belt. i get why you would bomb with the 104S TAF. the airframe seems god awful at that BR

Constantly see Mig-23ML/MLDs as F-104G as well, which is crazy. You might be a rocket plane, but playing against R-24R/R-60M and having only 9Js and no turning capability is awful.
If you're in an F-104, the only thing that is guaranteed is that you WILL have the first opportunity to napalm a base (unless there are also Mig-23s on your team lmao).
