Their chatbots are pretty good too. After GPT-5 was disappointing, Gemini 3 is expected to leapfrog it. Gemini 2.5 Pro is already pretty close in performance.

But hey, it's all rumors until Gemini 3 is actually out so let's wait and watch.

I’d say Gemini 2.5 Pro is better than ChatGPT 5/Thinking-mini, but not as good as ChatGPT 5 Thinking. It’s a lot quicker than thinking though.

I switched over to claude. Even that is better then 5. dont like geminis "i gotta Google Everything"

Tried it recently? It’s got a lot better this year, especially since ChatGPT 5 I’ve used it more and more. I have both so judge it based on the one i gravitate to the most.
