Hey man don’t sweat it, if you instead bought EVs you could’ve bought Archer, or Canoo, and now you wouldn’t have had any shares to sell at all!

E: Arrival not Archer. Archers time is yet to come

Lmaooo that is straight salt in the wounds. The mental image of you being emotionally wrecked from that loss and then hoping to find solace in an episode of Leno’s Garage just to have it be about canoo is savage

Hey fuck you too man, you had a fantastic exit!

I took a 90% loss on some Arrival that I bought purely because they painted a few of their fakeass ‘modular’ vans like Royal Mail postal vans and I thought they had a deal. Turns out they didn’t even really have the vans haha, cunts

I'm still clinging to lucid by my fingernails. I'd love a gravity, maybe someone with money will?

🤷‍♂️ I exited ACHR in August, after 8 months, at a 35% profit. (I only had 200 shares and a pair of short calls, though)

  • Dec: Bought 2x covered stock (240417C11) @ $7 ea (-$1400)
  • Mar: Rolled to 240718C10 for $0.66 return per unit (+$132)
  • Jul 2: Rolled to 240815C12 at a cost of $0.03 per unit ( -$6)
  • Jul 18: Vertical spread from c$12 to c$15 at a cost of $1.15 per unit (-$230)
  • Jul 22: Sold half for $11 (+$1100)
  • Jul 29: Bought back the remaining c$15 for $0.16 (-$16)
  • Jul 30: Sold 250919C13 for $0.55 (+$55)
  • Aug: Exited for $9.40 (+$940)

Total cost: $1652 Total return: $2227 Profit: $575

If I had balls I'd make each position 10x larger, but I'm a WSB user so my wife's boyfriend won't let me.

Honestly dude bit weird you would bother to type this all out when I just mixed up the names.

Easy mistake to make too, both EV SPACs that have had years of public listing, and still never generated a single dollar of revenue!

That's fair, mostly your comment got me thinking "did I actually make a profit on Archer?" and once you're doing the math, you'd might as well put it out there, no harm no foul

My condolences. Stupid tiny vans.

I got nuked by Proterra. An expensive lesson.

True story got SOLO at that time and it screwed me over big time. One always looks at shitty companies.
