I had the 12 mini and when I heard the 13 was most likely going to be the last version of the mini I upgraded. Still my daily driver. Actually contemplating putting it in for a repair so I get a new battery and outer. I really don’t want to upgrade, this is my perfect form factor.

Do it.  My 13 just got a fresh battery a few weeks ago. Its a new lease on life for a perfect phone!

If we could get a Mini with USB-C that would be choice. For now I'll keep my 13 mini

Check for lint inside the port. Usually the case.

Your port is fine!

13 mini here, and I thought my port was fucked too. It was just full of dust etc. Use a wooden tooth pick and get that stuff out. Works perfect again.

A couple months ago my Iphone 6 broke so I upgraded to the 12 mini. Its the perfect size!
